You can't tone pink to make it lighter. You're just going to have to let it fade.

1. It doesn't look bad
2. Ditto on Ave. It will fade. Pretty fast, too. You can try some clarifying shampoo and that might make it fade a wee bit faster.

It will fade. U can also apply bleach with 10 or 20 v to lift it slightly. Just watch it.

ahhh I just put pastel pink in my hair a few days ago and it came out too dark for my liking as well! I just washed it a few times with clarifying shampoo and it faded to the perfect pastel pink I was envisioning.
I regularly use toners on my whole head of violety/silvery hair but my pink dip dye went up too high for my liking so I just faded my pink with clarifying shampoo and covered some of it with my toner to match the rest of my hair... but clarifying shampoo is what faded the pink, not the toner (the toner muddied up the littlest bit of pink I had left in the area that needed to be toned).... go with the clarifying shampoo =) Its a super pretty color right now so that will probably be enough to get it to a shade of your liking
