A powder or liquid highlighter
White eyeliner
Brightening concealer and regular skin-colored concealer
Waterproof mascara
Sheer powder
A stippling brush for airbrushed foundation finish. Try El
A liner brush for using eyeshadow as liner or using cream liner
Cream liner
Pencil liner, layer under cream or liquid liner.
A concealer brush
A beauty blender sponge(use damp)
Blush brush ( I like angled so I can use for blush and contouring)
Makeup primer
BB cream
A matte nude eyeshadow set
Something like the Naked palette by urban decay
Eye primer or light cream shadow to act as base.
Brown eyebrow pencil

I would say it all depends on your taste. If you're looking to start with something natural I would suggest a good neutral eyeshadow palette first. Wet N Wild makes a lot of great palettes that are affordable and easy to work with. An eyelid primer is a must! Helps bring out color and keeps your shadow in place all day. Love my ELF primer for a buck from Target. Oh and a good mascara! Maybelline makes a lot of good ones I hear, but I use CoverGirl lash blast mostly.

Censure beginning you can definitely get away with using cheaper brushes and Shadows. Coastal scents or BH cosmetics until you get comfortable. Also, YouTube videos are the best for learning different type of makeup applications.

Buy a makeup palette for sure and play around with the colors at home when your bored to start
