I have an extremely dry face too, my eyelids and skin above my lips are flakey alllll the time! It might be worth going to see a dermatologist cos I know mine is linked to my eczema so sometimes I need to put steroid cream on just to clear it up a bit but other than that I have to use a really thick moisturiser on my dry bits, personally I feel oil free does nothing for me :( x

I use Cetapil cream. I apply it immediately after washing my face/ shaving to lock in moisture. You could also look into Sweet Almond Oil.

maria, please google coconut oil, it comes naturally as a solid. it naturally heals, decreases inflammation and approximately 48 other uses foe the body and hair. it might be helpful. let me know how things go, drink more fluids than you are used to, moisturize right away after bathing when skin is warm. check your laundry detergent, try something more natural. good luck sweet girl !

it's probably your
moisturizer causing this problem. Switch moisturizers to Cetaphil, best moisturizer out there.

If your skin is Dehydrated it will become very dry and flaky, you want to find a lotion that is hydrating NOT moisturizing because you need to rehydrate your skin just like you do your body if your not drinking enough H2O, along with that I've also heard very good things about coconut oil so you may want to try that as well, GOODLUCK!

Try using aveeno face cream, just a bit, or Vaseline lotion! Good luck!

I have the same issue. Usually after I shower or my facial cleansing regiment, I immediately apply moisturizer while my skin is still warm and damp after pat drying my skin. There's nothing more irritating than applying makeup when upon further observation, you notice little flakes around your eyes and nose!

I use Vaseline but it doesn't work as well as I would like it too. On top of dryness, I also get this random wrinkle in my eyelid, DF? IDK though, it could just be from dry skin. I feel your pain though.
