How can I make scars disappear?

I have major scars on my legs because I'm Asian and dark toned. How can I get scars to disappear fast? Some of them I've had since I was a child, and its really hard for me to show my legs.

There is special lotions you can buy. Otherwise you can use lemon juice, but I think that's just for freckles, I'm not sure. Try some special lotion/cream stuff, its not so speny either if you're not wanting to spend a ton.
