Hair color ~Will this idea work?

I recently (a month or so) died my blonde hair a light brown, which as you can in the pic is not light lol. I've read wo bleach you can't die you're hair more than two shades lighter (successfully)so what if I just keep dying it 2 shades lighter until I get it to the light ash brown I want?

Color doesn't lift color so if you were to put a light color on your hair the only thing that would lift is your new growth I would suggest going to a salon if you wanna go lighter, I have had a lot of clients trying to do this at home and they always end up in the salon spending way more than expected to fix ir

id buy a colour remover like colour b4 then buy the ash brown colour you want and put on. the colour before will strip out the brown ready fornyou to put on your new desired shade. gl!
