I have oily roots and dry ends from flat ironing (addicted, can't stop). I get my hair colored regularly and use an olive oil shampoo and conditioner, and argan oil sometimes before i flat iron. But my problem is i have short hair and my roots get so freaking oily after one day i can't stand it. I am on the search for a great dry shampoo right now, just got one from sallys yesterday. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? I can't and refuse wash my hair everyday. I'm thinking i need a new shampoo/conditioner combo.

To be completely honest, pantene is the best shampoo I ever used. They have so many different kinds of shampoo and conditioner combos for literally every kind of hair. They're great!

I have the same problem, oily roots and dry ends. I switched to using Aveda Brilliant Shampoo and Conditioner, and I try to leave it two days before washing again. I used to wash my hair every day. On the days I don't I spray my hair with dry shampoo, and blow dry it out (I only spray the roots, so it takes maybe 5 minutes, start to finish). You still might want to put oil on your ends too, but put it on before your hair is completely dry.

I use Paul Mitchell color care (just I bin out my highlights more) mixed with joico moisturizing and then I use Paul Mitchell strengthening conditioner with matrix biolage conditioner for more moisture! Also, a lot of people don't know his but in beauty school u learn I apply any products (shampoo, conditioner, leave ins ect.) start from the bottom and work your way up! It makes a HUGE difference! Also u might have oily roots because of build up in your hair! The applying will help a ton! But take a pick and put it in your shower and as u are rinsin out your conditioner brush it out too:) hope that helps
