What color should I dye my hair ?

It's a dark brown right now and it's a tiny lighter in the sunlight with hints of goldish highlights. I've never dyed my hair before. Also is there any hair styles or cuts you'd recommend ?

There's a picture from the Japanese stylists that I think your hair would look nice with. It's a nice flowy cut with some soft brown highlights and lowlights that aren't super obvious but add a lot of dimension to her hair.
