What kinds of airbrush makeup do you all prefer?

I have a dinair airbrush kit however i am not impressed with their makeup coverage and how it feels on my skin and don't want to apply it to my clients... can i put any airbrush makeup in my system? If so, which do you all prefer? :)

I have an airbrush that I bought at a hardware store so I use it with all kinds of different paints and makeup. I would say yes you could use any other foundation with it. It doesn't have a cartridge system for the makeup does it? I've heard of some that do and I don't believe you can use other types with those. But if it just has the little cup or jar you can mix your own. Just make sure to thin whatever foundation you pick with witch hazel. The only difference that I'm aware of between "airbrush" makeup and regular foundation is the consistency. The airbrush kind is made thinner so it flows through the airbrush better. Regular liquid foundation is still thin but can be considered too thick for an airbrush. And the last thing you want is clogging. Just thin it to soy milk consistency with pure witch hazel and you should be good.

As far as foundation goes I personally love Dior's Diorskin forever flawless wear. I haven't put it through an airbrush but if I had to do some airbrushed foundation its what I would go for at the moment :)

Watch out for oil based foundations...they will cause a clogging nightmare if you aren't careful.
