How do you apply your blush?

I have heard of several different ways or areas of applying blush on the cheeks... What is your way of applying it?

I apply it a tad above my cheeks...if applied on the apples of my cheeks while smiling actually draws my face down when I don't smile. And I kinda move the brush up to my temple...especially if Im wearing my hair down. And an angled brush is vital for my application.
