Making foundation last - which products / techniques to use?

Hi everyone.

I would really appreciate some advice on how to make my foundation last throughout the day. So far I use MAC Studio Fix foundation and moisturiser. It lasts me until midday and then it looks flaky and almost gone! I exfoliate also.

Any help would be fantastic, it's really doing my nut!
