worst MAC eyeshadows?

I recently bought my first MAC eyshadows... Beautiful Iris and Club. And I'm not impressed :( They're not very pigmented, not soft and do not have a great colour payoff at all. I know it's best to apply Club over a brown or green base, without base it's barely visible on my skin...
overall I'm actually pretty disappointed.
Is it me or did I accidentally buy two of the rather mediocre ones?

Most of the luster eyeshadows are bad.
