special effects lasts longer but if you dont bleach none of the colors will either show up, or show up how its supposed to.

You have to bleach your to do so unless you are already blonde, or have light brown hair that you can use a toner to lighten it up.

the more "porous" your hair is aka damaged.. the longer those dyes will also stay. some colors have a longer stain life time than others. everyone's hair is different.

punky colors is like spfx but has more colors and they fade out prettier. If you want long lasting vibrance then find a stylist in your area that uses Elumen by goldwell. It doesn't fade or bleed out.

ps, you don't have to prelighten the hair with Elumen. It can be used on unprocessed hair too, it just won't be vibrant. It will give more of a hue or translucent effect.
