Anyone ever try banana boat self tanner in deep dark color??? I am interested in trying it but I always get a bit nervous with self tanners seeing as I am very pale:/ any reviews would be great!:-)
Btw: I know I said I'm pale and want to
Know about deep dark color, instead of the light. I just heard that the light leaves you more orange then the deep color.

I personally have not use the banana boat. I have used the Jergens. I have never turned orange from this product and I am very pale. I did opt for the medium to dark shade in this version. Prior to using any self tanner you want to exfoliate your entire body. Afterwords you can apply the lotion. I like to go back afterwords and take a dry towel and wipe my elbows my knees the back of my knees around my wrists and ankles. These are the areas where self tanner seems to sit and you get a darker pigmentation there so if you dry these areas after you put the self Tanneron you won't get a deeper shade than you do on the rest of your body. I do my face last and I use Just a little. Don't use this product on the eyelid just go around the eyes and try not to make any facial expressions but get as close to the hairline as possible and definitey along the neck to make sure that shirt you had even coverage. I apply a second coat to the face and neck once the first layer dries. You want to make sure your face is exfoliated as well and that there aren't any dry patches on the face these will be accentuated by the tanner once it's dried. Don't forget to wash your hands really really well in between the fingers around the cuticles and especially the palms of hands these will tan very easily.

Never go for banana boat, they're cheap for a reason, the types of bronzers they use is very unnatural looking. I've also tried jergens, it's not too bad. I prefer a good spray tan. Ask around town and see where the most natural looking spray tan is. The line Victoria Secret carries is good too.
