How to Use
Apply the matte and satin shadows with your favorite natural or synthetic eye brush. The shimmer shade works best when patted onto the lid with your finger. We recommend using the shadows dry only. Sharpen the tip of the pencil and apply along the lashes in short strokes to achieve a precise line. Apply to the waterline for a more defined look. Use a detail brush to smudge along the lashline for a smoked-out effect.

I wouldn’t expect anything less from Wayne Goss but when I opened everything today and started playing with it, all I can say is WOWWW. First of all these eye pencils are NOTHING like I have ever tried before, they are the easiest and smoothest eye pencils I have ever used, I could barely feel the tip on my eyelid and waterline. I would say they are better then the PatMcgrath pencils that were my favorite, in my opinion. The way you can blend them out seamlessly yet they still stay super pigmented is seriously mind blowing to me. If you ever struggled with eye pencils, pick these up and they will change the game. Highly HIGHLY recommend. They went on in my waterline immediately in one swipe even the lightest bronze color. For the eyeshadow palette.... again I am amazed at these textures and colors, how unique they are even in a industry where we have “seen it all”. Yea it’s a neutral palette but I don’t have anything else like this in my collection of Pat McGrath, Natasha Denona, Tom Ford, etc. They are soo uniquely beautiful. The celestial shade is SOO smooth, so light weight on the eye and insanely beautiful on the lid. It makes me look like a glistening sophisticated goddess. If you can’t tell I am literally blown away by this collection. For a neutral lover like myself, this is a dream come true❤️ Thank you so much Wayne💜 I can feel the love and endless amount of hard work you put into this❤️❤️40 found this helpful.Nina P. Yes, yes, and yes!
Totally agree with the above review. I feel like I've been waiting forever for my favorite not-boring very beautifying neutral palette, Surratt Beauty's "Beyond Beige" palette. The wait is over because I love this palette so much more. It's gorgeous and full of play room while remaining sophisticated.
Only got the eye pencil in the bronze shade, Precious Opal. Goes on so smooth and the color is so pretty. I normally don't line my lower waterline because my eyes aren't exactly large, but I love the look when I do it with this bronze shade. Gentle on sensitive eyes, too.
I'm a blusher junkie, too. Can you imagine Wayne Goss reinventing variations on the color Pink? I sure can! :)30 found this helpful.Theresa C. Aug 01, 2020
Chic, Sophisticated, Excellent!
I'll start this review by praising Beautylish's incredibly fast shipping and delivery. I ordered this collection on Thursday (launch day) and it arrived at my house this morning (Saturday) so thank you, Beautylish! As for the collection, the formula of the eyeshadows is smooth and effortlessly blendable, especially when using Wayne's brushes. The eyeliner doesn't tug AT ALL and when using a little foam wedge sponge, that also blends it beautifully. Like Wayne said, you can blend the liner all by itself near the lashline, add some mascara and that would be a look. (I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills or Smashbox 24 hr eye primer. Both are great primers for me personally). My ONLY complaint, and it is a small one, is that the matte brown fawn color is alittle too orange on my lids and I blame my fair/light cool/neutral skin tone for that. To avoid this, I dab my brush into the black to cool it down and that works just fine. Otherwise the collection is perfect, I couldn't ask for more from Wayne Goss. He is simply a gentleman, one of the most informative makeup artists in the industry, and I wish him all the best in present and future of his brand.25 found this helpful.Jenny G. Aug 01, 2020
Could not wait to try Wayne's collection. First of all, the quality is AAA+ just as expected.
The palette has a good weight and feels luxurious. The eyeshadow pans are generous with product, just as Wayne promised. The colors are gorgeous and universal. The quality of the shadows is incredible. I tried them all, they have great color payoff without any flakes whatsoever. The black shadow is the best black shadow I have ever tried. When I tried it, it made so much sense when Wayne said that he will always include the black in his palettes.
I love the colors of the pencils. They are classics with a twist. Tried them with the shadows and on bare skin. Beautiful, soft, amazing pigment and staying power. I have greasy eyelids and when the pencils are paired with the shadows there was no lines or greasing. On my bare lid, there was minimal greasing with is a miracle for me.
I was sure that this collection would exceed expectations, and I was still surprised! So happy for Wayne, he is such a great guy and an amazing, thoughtful makeup artist.19 found this helpful.Ang F. Aug 04, 2020
For ALL the eyeballs! Versatile
This Topaz Luxury Eye Collection from Wayne Goss left me speechless. It may seem like a typical neutral palette (well, it is) with simple eyeliners but I will vouch and say it is definitely worth every penny that I spent. The shadows are not to be underestimated. Although the color story is nothing extraordinary, it is the formula that makes this palette lovely. The shadows are soft, creamy and blendable, making it super easy to use. I also found the shades to be versatile in use, not only for eyes but for the face. (Light champagne satin for highlight and copper satin for blush (looks similar to a burnt/toasty blush) are some examples. Also, you are getting a lot of product for the value. The pans are HUGE. It is such a nice everyday palette that can transition from day to night. Although the color story and price point may deter some people....if you are a fan of neutral palettes and a lux beauty lover then you would love this palette. To be honest the price is not that unreasonable. There are other brands that sell eyeshadow quads for 80 dollars and up. For six large pans and to only be 50 something dollars. Not bad. The eyeliners to keep it short and sweet. Very pigmented, deep, and creamy. I will say you do not need all the shades of the pencils. Rich hazel and precious opal look almost identical but I am glad I picked it up. Try it! You will not regret it!12 found this helpful.Gisela S. Aug 04, 2020
I feel like this is the palette I have waited for my whole life.
This foolproof grownup palette is sophisticated but at the same time so easy to use. It delivers enough pigment but there is no faffing. It glides on and it adds the most delicious pop of sparkle and is anything but boring. I love the brick color which adds a modern flair and I look forward to experimenting with it. The quality is outstanding as is everything in Wayne's line that I have been fortunate to collect. There is plenty more on my wish list. But don' t hesitate to get this palette. I have yet to try the pencils.7 found this helpful.Joan L. Aug 08, 2020
Luxurious and Worth the Investment !
I purchased this last week and have been using this palette non-stop ever since for interviews and meetings that are held virtually. There was no need to pull in a 2nd or third palette with this set.
The eyeshadow palette is absolutely gorgeous from the packaging to the actual product. I love the full size mirror and generous amount of product. With the 6 shades provided one can create so many simple and elegant looks. This is also portable and easy to travel with. Normally I do not like using eye pencils because the ones I have used were hard on the eyes and did not apply as smooth or were too soft and broke. My go to had been always a liquid liner. Not these eye pencils they are so soft enough to apply on the eye smoothly with no tugging or pulling. These products are game changer and are very easy to use. Definitely will recommend this product to friends and family .5 found this helpful.Suzanne R. Aug 14, 2020
I am so very impressed by this palette. I am a professional makeup artist. I do have palettes already with these colors but I decided to give these a try because Wayne talked about gearing them for over 40 eyes. All I can say is, WOW! If you are over 40, THIS is the palette you need. It's sophisticated and absolutely stunning. I swiped it with my fingers and put it on my arm and I just was underwhelmed. I then decided to do an eye look on my own eyes using the palette and I was IN LOVE! I am over 30 and I couldn't believe how these developed on the eyes. On my arm they didn't seem that pigmented but once I put them on my eyelids they seemed to melt into my skin and develop into richer more sophisticated colors. They made the skin on my eyelids look more youthful and they stayed put without any oxidation or color change through an entire 10 hour day looking as fresh as when I applied them. The eye pencils are just outstanding. They are creamy and blendable so you can use them to double as an eyeshadow or to intesify a dark smokey eye. If you set them with the shadows they are bulletproof. I was in high humidity and the eye pencils and eye shadows held up through my sweatiest moments. If i had to pick one word for this set it would be sophisticated. I have never used a product with more sophistication. The way they apply just makes you feel beautiful. I wish i'd had this sooner for my mother of the bride kit and for my on set over 30 kit. This is definitely worth every penny.4 found this helpful.Mary ann G. Aug 19, 2020
It's a nice palette
This is a good, solid performing palette and pencils. What I liked: The eyeshadow shades apply well, blend well, and I had very little fall out, both in the pan and on my lid. The pans are large, you get plenty of product, and there's very little wasted space in the palette. The pencils had plenty of pigment, were smooth going on, and blended well. They also didn't dry quickly so I didn't feel rushed to blend. What I didn't like: The glittery shade. To me it was reminiscent of Charlotte Tilbury's "pop" shades (though this one felt a little smoother than hers). It did sprinkle down under my eyes and cheeks and I won't be using it often. One comment about Wayne's marketing...it was said in the video the target audience is 40s, 50s, and 60s,. I'm in my early 50s so I'm in the target range. However, 30 somethings were used to demonstrate. Obviously it shows up great on them so I understand, but for the next palette release (which I expect to purchase) it would be more authentic if a face in the target range was included in the demo.4 found this helpful.
