Color looks odd on me
For reference I have light skin with yellow undertones. I watched a couple of videos & went with the lightest shade as the medium looked like it would be too deep. It just didn't work for my skintone. The contour shade is super grey.. some of the bloggers stated the contour color looks undetectable on..but on me it is a very obvious grey and not flattering. The bronzer shade went on like a very golden highlighter and makes me look even more yellow rather than warm. The texture is very nice though. If there was a color between medium and light perhaps that will work for me but this is not working. Attached a picture below..the top two are the Wayne goss shades and the bottom color is the Kevin Aucoin contour in Light which looks a lot more natural when I wear it. Another comment I would make is the contour pan is huge .. I don't think anyone can get through it as fast as they would get through the bronzer..would it make more sense to have more bronzer in the pan?35 found this helpful.Amy B. Apr 12, 2021
NOT ORANGE (FOR ONCE)
My light skin is closer to medium than porcelain and I was on the fence between the light gold and satin bronze shades. I chose light gold and it is definitely on the light side for me. I think the darker shade might have worked better. However, the grayish tone of this light contour is actually perfect for my skin and so it's probably better to build this one up than go with something that might have been the wrong undertone altogether. I've been searching for a gray-toned contour because my undertones are neutral leaning cool. So, this was a great choice for the contour. The bronzer actually leans pinker than orange. It's actually quite similar in color to the Butter Bronzer by Physician's Formula. It looks like pinkish gold on my skin. I would advise those with yellow undertones to avoid this particular palette, but if you are neutral or cool, this will work so much better than most other contours and bronzers that exist. The closest thing to the contour that I've tried is the .5 Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate. I am posting a photo with the contours and bronzers I've purchased so far on my journey. None of them have been completely right for me, but this palette is actually the best one I've found for my cool undertones. I'm truly loving this contour shade, although the bronzer is quite similar to the Butter Bronzer and Tom Ford Bronzer in Gold Dust. I guess I'm saying the bronzer isn't revolutionary but this contour shade is amazing for me and it's definitely a good find.26 found this helpful.Meredith D. Apr 04, 2021
This is the most gorgeous bronzer and contour! It goes on so smoothly and blends into skin beautifully. I’m fair skinned, but I almost picked the medium shade because I was afraid the light gold would be too light. It isn’t! It’s perfect, & I am glowing! Just need coral rose to come back in stock, & I will be ready for summer!18 found this helpful.Azra H. Apr 04, 2021
So glad I picked the med shade, it is perfect for light skin and I can also use it when I am a little darker this summer. This stuff is pigmented! So smooth and blends into the skin like a dream. I prefer it over my cream products, and that says a lot!! I apply a little bit of the contour color on the hollows and blend with the radiance bronzer and it is “chefs kiss”14 found this helpful.Olivier C. Apr 15, 2021
I really wanted to love this product and loved the concept of the bronzer with a cool contour color but this is so wrong. First of all the consistency is off. The bonzer is hard to pick up while the contour crumbles under the brush and falls off all over. Second the color!!!! The bronzer looks like a gold highlighter and the contour looks like plain dirt. it is a huge disappointment and I will need to be returning this. I added photos for comparison's sake.11 found this helpful.Brenda Z. Apr 06, 2021
Wayne Gods is a wizard! I bought the Satin Bronze and the Light Gold palettes and have zero regrets! Both are absolutely beautiful! My skin looks radiant and lovely! I highly recommend!

Very pretty on
I am a med light, neutral toned. I am using the Satin Bronze and am delighted that I can put on as much as I need to. The colors are subtle and are like shadow and light. I appreciate the big pans: I can use my big fluffy fan or powder blush brushes.9 found this helpful.Tiffany W. Apr 09, 2021
I absolutely love this!
I’m so happy to have this. I’m a fair neutral skin tone and I went back and fourth when deciding on soft gold or satin bronze. I think I could pull off either and in the product photos the soft gold looked incredibly light. I just kept telling myself trust Wayne. I should make clear I’m really not at all a fan of super warm orange leaning bronzer. I find both shades so beautifully compliment my skin tone without being in your face obvious. The duo blends beautifully and I had virtually no kick up in the pans. One more positive in my mind is the pan size and amount of product received for the money. I couldn’t be happier with my choice and this bronzer/contour.8 found this helpful.Fay B. Apr 09, 2021
The Perfect Duo
I am fair to medium with a warm undertone complexion. I picked the Satin Bronze after I watched the video demo a couple of time. Tossed between the lightest one and the medium one, but felt like I just want to stick to my makeup routine, and don't want to keep blending up. But rather applying slightly. The colour is highly pigmented and suits my complexion perfectly. I apply the shimmering one over my eyelids also. It's just beautiful. I apply using WG brush 12, it's the best combination. I highly recommend this combination.8 found this helpful.Claudia N. Apr 23, 2021
Love the bronzer: it is light with a beautiful subtle shimmer, it's perfect for my fair neutral skin tone. I love that it is not turning into an orange mess like so many other bronzers. The contour tone is wonderful. I was afraid it would show on the skin as too ashy grey when I saw it in the pan, but oh my! It gives a very nice light taupe shadow on your face, barely there but accentuates your contour beautifully. I was not contouring much before because all products I tried were just too much. This one though is just wonderful! Both powders are nicely melting into your skin and not sitting on top of it. Easy to work with. Excellent products, thank you, Wayne!7 found this helpful.
