Even though the cost per shadow of the Viseart 12 shade palettes is completely reasonable, I had a hard time taking the plunge. So when these smaller palettes were released, I decided to take the plunge and see what they were all about. I'm completely ruined for other brands now. This cashmere palette is perfectly composed as a neutral palette for my fair/light complexion. And I loved it so much, I immediately bought the minx version and 2 of the larger viseart palettes. I will say that the one shimmer shade in the middle of the cashmere, is really hard to get color payoff with, but even with that drawback, I would gladly purchase this palette again. And I will shortly be completing my collection of the theory palettes with the chroma. I have never experienced shadows that blend as effortlessly as these. Buy one. Buy all three. Buy it all. You won't be disappointed.
First of all let me just tell you I am a bit bias because my favorite color is PURPLE. So when I heard that VISEART was making a Theory Palette in PURPLES I just about fell off my chair, I was so excited. All of the pics looked absolutely stunning & being VISEART I knew that the shadows themselves would be of the utmost top quality. Like all of my other Viseart eye shadow palettes, they are made from the same formula so there are never any surprises. What you see is what you get "ALWAYS" & that is important to me. :) "I Have Finally Found My Perfect Purple" & I have tried "A LOT", over the years. It is so hard to find that vibrant purple that looks good no matter how much you use, as everyone who has ever tried probably knows. It is so STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL. It has surpassed all of my expectations. Thank you Viseart you nailed it. +++++ :)
Also having different shades & finishes are just a added bonus. The mattes are so smooth & creamy feeling at the same time which always amazes me. Of course they all blend like a dream.Yet so pigmented even the lightest shade, which also can be used to make the other eye shadows softer. So, so many options! Which are endless especially if you happen to have any of the other Viseart Palettes like I do. You can never only have one. :) I also love the shimmers & the blue/purple is to die for. I normally do not gravitate to blue eye shadows. Which I should because I have brown eyes, this just makes my eyes pop "Love It". None are over the top or filled with chunks glitter, yet still they have such a intense color & shine. So that makes them great for a wide range of people. This is so worth getting you will definitely will not regret this. Thank you Beautylish for bringing this Gem to me & for super fast shipping. Purple Rocks! :)
These mini Viseart palettes are fantastic! I love the way they are curated for warm, cool or neutral eye looks. I picked up shade 02 Minx and have had a lot of fun using it. I find the shadows to be extremely pigmented. They have the same powdery texture that is typical for Viseart shadows. And while many would lead you to believe that is a bad thing, it's not! It's only bad if the product doesn't have great pigment. These take some work to blend because of how pigmented they are but the results are stunning. With proper application technique you won't have fall out and you will love how long wearing these shadows are. The only two drawbacks for me with the Minx palette is that I wish it had a more natural transition shade and I'm not crazy about the packaging. On one hand I love it because it's small, compact, seems durable and perfect for my busy travel schedule. But on the other hand it's a little awkward and seems like it's going to get beat up pretty easily. But I love that Viseart has created a more consumer friendly product and this is the perfect way to dip your toe into the Viseart world!
I was really excited to try this as I'm obsessed with neutral palettes. I have fair skin (N2 in MAC face and body, 3 Fair in Charlotte Tilbury LW and MF, 4.5 in Armani Luminous Silk) with cool pink undertones. For some reason it's really hard for me to find a neutral palette that looks neutral. Most neutral palettes look grey on me. So it was with ViseArt Cashmere. I tried on all 6 shades (not all at once!) and they all looked like varying shades of grey on my lids. :-(
The texture is pretty powdery. There's not a huge amount of fall-out, but I was surprised with the amount I had to clean up. Not a huge amount, but I've been spoiled by Tom Ford shadow palettes, which are like butter, and are my absolute HG fave. Charlotte Tilbury's palettes come in second. I also found the ViseArt more difficult to blend over eyeshadow primer (Urban Decay) than my other shadows, and I have the best brushes (WG, Chikuhodo).
I was hoping to love this, but sadly I'm sending it back. :-(
I was so disappointed at the quality. The palette looks gorgeous but the colors are way bright and was a huge fallout mess. The matte colors are dull and do not blend well.
So I’m a viseart girl, I’ve been using them in my kit a while now. They were. Spurge I’m still paying them off but I can promise you as a working artist they are a must. Absinthe was a release I asked personally for. I needed a small green tone palette that could give me classic looks to rock n roll looks. I work a lot with color and for me Absinthe is. Grown up color story for the sexy sophisticated, maybe alittle edgy girl. She makes the rules and she’s all about standing out. If greens are your thing, buy this. It’s some magical green perfection. I have all of them but hands down Absinthe is my favorite. I did a whole set dedicated to its inspiration
This is the prettiest Theory palette yet! I love greens and this doesn’t disappoint, you can wear the shimmers alone or layer them for a different look! Layer the light green over the emerald and you have a golden olive and so on.
When I bought this pallette I was a little put off with how small the product was for the cost and truthfully a little upset. After finally swatching it, I realized these shades were GORGEOUS!!!! It's been my core go-to for work daily look but not too va va VOOM. Ya know? No regrets at all purchasing this and I look forward to purchasing the other 2 theory pallettes as well!
This has been my go to palette for a quick effortless yet stunning eye look. This colors in here are classic colors that will work for every eye shape and color. I mainly use the matte side since I'm not really into shimmer at the moment but even those shades are gorgeous and would look beautiful paired with the matte side. This is the palette I pull out when I'm running late or don't have a particular look in mind. A+palette.
It is true Viseart quality! Blends beautiful and simply a perfect neutral palette. I want Minx now.
