The Hair Removal Laser 4X is designed to work on naturally light brown to black body hair. Because the Hair Removal Laser 4X works with the dark pigment in the hair, lighter hair colors such as white, blond, red, or gray will not absorb enough of the laser's energy to disable the hair follicle.
Note: Hair color in one area can be darker or lighter than hair color in another area, so check the hair in the area you wish to treat.

Other Details
Using the Tria Hair Removal Laser as directed for at least 8 treatments, most users will achieve a substantial visible reduction in hair regrowth, and additional treatments may result in additional reductions. Depending on skin tone, hair color, body part, treatment level, and other factors, individual results from laser hair removal may range from complete reduction to little or no reduction.

My Tria Laser Precision emits a whirling/fan noise and warm air as soon as I start my treatment. Should I wait for it to turn off before moving to the next treatment area?
It is normal for the cooling fan to turn on and emit warm air through the bottom vent as soon as you unlock your device. You should continue treatment while this is happening and do not need to wait for it to turn off before treating the next area.
How long does it take before I start seeing results?
- After each treatment: The skin may experience mild redness that typically dissipates within 24 hours. Hair that was effectively treated begins to fall out. Hair that regrows may be finer and lighter. Continue your regular treatments.
- After 3 months of treatment: With each treatment, additional follicles will be treated. Hair follicles that have been deactivated the Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X will no longer grow hair. Continue to use the Tria Laser until you achieve your desired results.
Can I use the Tria Hair Removal Laser on genitals?
No. Do not use the Tria Hair Removal Laser Precision on genitals. These areas may have a darker skin tone and/or a greater hair density. Using the Hair Removal Laser Precision in these areas may cause serious skin injury. You can use the Hair Removal Laser Precision on your bikini line, which is the pubic hair visible beyond the boundaries of a swimsuit.
Can I use the Hair Removal Laser on tattoos?
No. Do not use Tria Laser on parts of your skin that are darker than your usual skin tone: tattoos, dark brown or black spots (such as large freckles, birthmarks or moles). Dark skin may absorb too much laser light, which can injure the skin.
