Unidentifiable weird smell
Because my all-time favorite fragrance is Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille (which I tend to reserve for cooler weather), I decided to try another Tom Ford pick when searching for a summertime fragrance. Unfortunately, I really dislike Soleil Brûlant. I can't identify the odd, unnatural smell and wouldn't say it's anything at all like its description. Perhaps it's just my own body's chemistry, but to me it's no more appealing than a commercial air-fresener used in public restrooms. After applying it, I gave it an hour to see if it would morph into something wonderful. Instead, it became only slightly less objectionable, so I have already made arrangements to return it. That being said, I will still consider other Tom Ford fragrances as I continue my search for the best summer scent.
