Perfect for that no-makeup look

I am not much of a foundation wearer, I don't like the feel or look for to much coverage, so I tend to stay with bb or cc creams but this foundation caught my attention. A serum foundation sounded just up my alley and since I love so much from the ordinary I decided to give it a go! And I was not let down. This foundation gives me a beautiful light coverage, just enough to smooth over my skin and give it a even look. The product sinks into the skin quickly and blends out nice and easy. The finish is very natural, but I do prefer to set it with a powder to keep it in place all day.

Your skin but better

I had to mix the foundation as bought a shade that was too light. However, I was impressed with the coverage and how well it stayed on after a long day at the office. I had no issues with tackiness. It applied easily over my primer and can't wait to try out the darker shade and hopefully get the right shade the second time around. Currently one of my favourite foundations as it seems to give my skin a 'complete' look even after 10 hours. It also mixes well with liquid highlighters as well as other foundations.

I like it

As with some of the other reviews, it does stick to dry patches, but overall I like it. I was surprised the 1 pump covered my whole face, despite being thin, I mix it with another foundation and wallah! If the light with yellow undertones would ever become available I'd be even happier!

It's perfect for dry skin and the coverage can build little by little. Put some powder on my t zone and it can stay all day! Love it!

great light foundation

this is more like a tinted moisturizer. great for the hot days when you dont want to wear full coverage foundation and deal with baking and the full face glam. just apply this after primer and apply some light setting powder and bronzer and its a perfect summer look. you can still see freckles and other skin imperfections through it as it is light coverage but it does make the skin tone look more even and like you aren't wearing any makeup!!!! if you can get away from wearing full coverage stuff this is a must have for any makeup collection.

Good affordable foundation

It's a nice, natural looking foundation. The color gets a little darker once it dries, so that's something to keep in mind when choosing a shade.

Great for dry skin, very light, like a CC/BB cream

Lately, I’ve been using very light things, mostly bb/cc creams instead of foundations. But this one is so natural and lightweight, so it gives me that look I prefer. I also found that it looks even more natural, when mixed with High Spreadability primer, instead of applying the primer underneath. And the shade 1.2N is just the right one for me.

Excellent easy to use foundation.

Great for the days when I want to just slap some make up on & look better. A single pump covers my whole face, if I can't be bothered using a beauty blender I mix in 2 drops of their rosehip oil & just rub it on my face with my hands. Nice natural looking coverage. No it's not full coverage, but I don't want that all the time, it is however a flattering finish to my 50 year old skin, doesn't accentuate wrinkles, evens out my skin tone & makes me look fresher. I love it. Shake well before use, apply with a beauty blender or a buffing brush if you want to, or don't it's easy going it doesn't care.

I really wanted to like this product. I tried it twice with the same results. It sat in my pores and wrinkles highlighting them. Not what I want in a foundation. I also tried it with the Ordinary primer it did not help. I will be sending it back.

Great for me

I have not been able to find a foundation I liked for very long time. I really like this. It is thin which is a bonus for me as I just want to make skin look better not covered up. I think this color was a perfect match for me. The color options seem pretty wide and considering the very affordable price, I may purchase a slightly darker shade in summer. So glad I discovered The Ordinary.
