Love customizable vitamin c

I really like that The Ordinary has so many different Vitamin C Products to choose from. Some are winners and some not so much... many have a gritty and/or sticky texture. The Ordinary's 100% L-Ascorbic Acid Powder mixes in easily with many different serums I've tried. I started out very slow despite the fact that I have been using a Vitamin C Serum regularly. A little goes a long way so please be careful. Too much Vitamin C can cause a slight burning or tingling sensation, but if it does not go away right away I would rinse it off and use a lesser amount the next day. I love that this serum now can take the place of what would normally be another skincare layer. This mixes well and in fact, I couldn't even tell that this was in my serum so it has a pretty decent texture for mixing. Also love that it is fragracne free! Update on use

Don't know how to update my previous review, so i summit another one... i've been using L-ascobic acid powder for almost 6 weeks, and doesn't give reactions, my skin is on well condition... i use at nighttime, mixing 2 pumps of guerlain super aqua serum (not the most affordable moisturizer) + 1/4 spoon of powder and then put all over my face and neck.

The powder mix so well, no clumps, but it will give to your moisturizer a thick consistency.

I don't see a lot of improvement on my acne spot, but i noticed my skin looks less tired (i'm 42).

The only thing i honestly dislike, is a weird oxide smell every morning, but it happens to me every time i apply a product with pure vitamin C.

I'll keep using.

Few days later

Still the best find this year! Wish The Ordinary would come out with a sunblock that can be added to our lotions in this fashion.

Just what I was looking for!

I was looking for a body lotion containing Vit C and found this on this site. Best thing ever! I came back to buy a backup and it was already sold out. It is brilliant and easy to mix with my body lotion. So happy that beauytylish is still carrying The Ordinary!

Easy to Mix and Get's Results!

I have aging, normal to dry, sensitive skin that many products cause breakouts for me, but I've always been ok with acids. I try to focus on skin care to keep the wrinkles and melasma at bay as much as possible, and most of the time my skin looks pretty good as long as I am vigilant with my skincare. Plus I ALWAYS use sunscreen. For years I have been using mostly Perricone products and I've had very good results but they are quite pricey, so naturally I've been curious about The Ordinary and started using them about a month ago. So far I'm very pleased with most of what I've tried, and have placed a few more orders to try even more of The Ordinary as things I've wanted to try come back in stock. I will say that I've gotten the fastest and most noticeable results with this product combined with the Azelaic Acid. On to the review: I only lifted up the seal about half an inch so it's not as messy. It comes with a tiny scoop and I started with half of the scoop, but after a few days with a little tingling, but no irritation, I now use almost a whole scoop. I put it in my palm and then add a couple drops each of Salicylic Acid & Hyularonic Acid & sometimes Glycolic Acid, then rub it between my palms and apply. The powder is so super fine it blends up like a dream. I then follow up with Azelaic Acid topped with Rose Hip Seed Oil. Since I've started using it in combination with the Azelaic Acid, I can tell my skin seems noticeably brighter. I usually alternate this combo with retinol and will be adding some of The Ordinary antioxidants and peptides when they come in. When I want more skin clarity I use this combo two or three days in a row. After hearing people rave about Beautylish I can see why. Their thoughtful and careful packaging are top notch and shipping is quick. I also appreciate the free shipping with $35 purchase!

Not sure yet.

I think I like it. I use it with another product and love the tingling sensation. I did break out from it after the first use, but hoping it's pulling the bad stuff up because I never break out. Haven't broken out since! :)

First time on L-ascorbic acid

This is my first time using this, i tried others The Ordinary products... on youtube i saw a few reviews on L- ascorbic and many people complaining that it's a mess when they open the jar.

That's not my case, the product is complete sealed and you just need to lift a little bit that seal, to make just enough space to introduce the mini spoon and you don't have any waste.

Is to soon for me to gave a fair opinion on how effective is, a little tingling sensation after applying, and only use 1/4 of the spoon provided... i will update my review based on my results.

Has a lot of product and expire 6 months after you start to use. But it cost less than $10, so i can purchase again if it's works
