A bit disappointed
The matte is ok, but nothing spectacular. The shimmers are what I am buying this palette for but I am disappointed because it kinda floats on the surface of your skin. It doesnt matter if you are using your finger or brush. It doesnt really stick to your skin.
Violet Voss shimmer and Viseart Shimmer from the Theory Palettes are much better than Natasha Denona.
The only way I find the shimmers is less floating on top is when I use some MAC fix plus to the brush before applying. For such an expensive brand I expect it to work on its own.
I don't care what others say! Natasha Denona has set another standard for eyeshadows. I enjoy the pigmentation, the different finishes and textures. I work 12 hours shifts and these last me all day. Will complete my collection!!
For Me Natasha Makes All the Difference
I have used many different shadows over the years at many different price points. Up until finding Natasha Denona, I was wearing mostly MAC with some Urban Decay and Too Faced for my shadows. I love to wear shimmer and sparkle. I love Natasha Denona's shadows so much more than anything else I've ever tried, I doubt I'll go back to any other brand. I loved her shadows so much I bought a palette for my sister and texted all my MA friends. If you use it right off the palette, fall out can be bad, but I dab my brush with water before applying and I get no fall out at all. After, I use Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper and spritz with Skindinavia for a bullet-proof look that lasts through long work days and weddings. Natasha's shadows blend like nothing I've ever seen and they look fantastic in person. They are so highly pigmented I feel like I've been wearing children's makeup up until now. I really love this product and I've ordered more. Her True Gold color is the SINGLE BEST gold eye shadow I've ever used.
Beautiful sparkle/shimmer palette!
This is my favorite of the five-pans. Lots of color diversity here. All are shimmer, sparkle, or duo tone, so I do use a matte from another palette as a transition. I have dark brown eyes and these colors work great!
