Great Brush
The Koyudo Classic Series is a great line of brushes. I own 4 so far they're on the shorter side and they feel balanced in hand. I prefer dyed goat hair brushes. So I was automatically drawn to this line. Why do I like dyed goat hair so much. Well because they pick up hard pressed powders and any other powders I'm using without issue. They not as delicate plus you don't see how discolored the hairs get after use. I do find the Koyudo dyed goat hair brushes to feel great on the skin. They're not prickly and glide across the face beautifully. With that being said I don't have sensitive skin. So if you do this line might not be for you, but I think for the average consumer these will be fine. Now with that out of the way on to the C01 the brush length is 165mm with the hairs being 45mm per "Fude Beauty". The C01 is a beast with loose and pressed powders. It's dense so you can use it to buff on bronzer and powder foundation or pack on loose powder. I've used it to buff finishing powder over my face with no movement of what was applied beforehand. I have a thing for round dome shaped brushes. So I've attached a picture of some of my other dyed Koyudo brushes next to the C01 they are the BP007 and the BP005. The BP007 is 165mm, but the hairs are 50mm. The BP005 is 170mm with 55mm hairs. The BP007 is airy and has less surface area. I use it mainly with bronzer and for targeted buffing. The BP005 is larger and is a mixture of airy and dense if that makes any sense. I use it to pack on powder, bronzer and for buffing larger areas of the face. All right I hope this information helps someone. Because I think the Koyudo Classic Series is very user-friendly affordable and an all-around solid entry level line.
