This book is absolutely amazing! The photos are stunning and the book itself is really comprehensive, making it so easy to follow along and understand important makeup concepts.

This is going to be so much fun artis or not to try out. One book 100 of different ideas in the making. It has beautiful colored photos and text. If you have to pick your first book this is the one to start with.

I had this book before. For professionals or those just who want to learn great techniques, it's a beautiful, coffee table style book where learns valuable, magical techniques from the best. His work was about finding individual beauty, not passing trends. I learned more from Mr. Aucoin by his books and Allure column than from my formal courses, alone, and elsewhere. I can't recommend it enough; it should be a required textbook for makeup artistry classes.

If you were only able to purchase one book on makeup artistry this would be the one is pick. The luscious photos and celebrity makeovers are simply mind boggling when you consider Mr. Aucion passed away before the advent of HD formulas and many of the modern "miracle" helpers we have at our disposal. I continually pick up this book and pour over the pages for inspiration. Well worth every penny!!!

easy to follow, and very complete! shows you the dos and don't and Kevyns artistic work which is timeless and classic! This book still inspires me every time i read it.
