Very harsh on sensitive skin

Despite loving its size (I prefer smaller brushes for foundation application), I gave up on it after multiple uses/washes. Unfortunately, - and this is coming from someone with rosacea - the bristles were too harsh and pokey on my sensitive skin and that definitely affected my enjoyment of the brush.

Streaky

Horrible foundation brush! Very streaky. Can not be used on its own. I tried with numerous foundations and it never worked. Not a good brush.

I love this brush with my light foundation(Pat & Georgio). It goes on so smoothly and covers the small areas well! Dabbing, buffing work well. Not much shedding after the first wash! Love this cutie!

Not bad but....

If you are looking for a brush for liquid foundation my recommendation is that you first try CHIKUHODO GSN Series GSN-2 Powder. Yes, it is a powder brush but it can also be used for liquid and cream. There is no better brush. This goat bristles are as soft as gray squirrel. It is dense and absorbs absolutely no product. It leaves the skin perfect, it integrates very naturally.

I HAVE ALSO KOYUDO BP Series BP014 Foundation Brush and CHIKUHODO GSN Series GSN-5 Liquid Foundation but I just didn't like them, because of the shape and because the bristles are Harper. The Koyudo One is too small for the face.

CHIKUHODO GSN Series GSN-5 is not as small as KOYUDO BP Series BP014 but its a bit smugler for face. The bristles are Harper THAN Koyudo GSN5.

Me advice, first try CHIKUHODO GSN Series GSN-2, you wont regresa.

Blends and buffs like a charm

This brush is amazing! I use it to stipple foundation and works perfectly on my pores, they’re less visible after using this brush. I have also used it to blend and buff foundation, leaves no streak marks. One of the best I have ever tried. Great investment

Indispensable liquid and cream foundation brush

I bought the first brush after reading the good reviews and a few weeks later, I ordered another backup because the first brush was waiting to dry after wash and using BeautyBlender to apply my Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer cream foundation does not yield the exceptional results that this Chikuhodo brush give. The brush handle and construction are comfortable for use and it’s tapered enough to smooth foundations in hard spots (inner corner of my nose). This brush does not cause any of my liquid (Kosas, Armani, La Mer, Koh Gen Do) foundations to streak. It also applies cream foundations (Kevyn Aucoin Skin Enhancer, Suqqu Rich Cream, RCMA KJ Bennett palette) beautifully. Smooth applications through and through. The brush is of medium density which I appreciate because it’s balanced for both stippling foundations, blending and buffing. Despite it being thick in the middle and tapered on the tip, this brush does not absorb too much foundations. I have washed the first brush 3 times since I got them couple weeks ago and no shedding detected, very well crafted. It’s overall better than any other natural fude in the market for liquid/cream foundation.

Holy grail

For years I was using an Hourglass brush, and most recently a Chanel makeup brush, but was always just 'ok' with the results. One application with THIS brush, though, absolutely flawless results. And for a (slight) fraction of the price. 100% worth the investment.

GOOD BRUSH

This is my first Chikuhodo brush and I am happy with this purchase. This brush is good for blending foundation/concealer on the under eye area. Its size allows you to reach even the hard to reach areas around the eyes. It's also very soft :) I also love the fact that it doesn't absorb the liquid and cream foundation. It is very easy to clean! Overall I would recommend this brush!!!

Perfect to Blend in my Cellularose Brightening CC Serum from By Terry

I write this as a title statement, because as beautiful as this CC serum is, it is the most difficult to blend in. On my skin at least (combination middle-eastern), it streaks and creates patches and weird marks. I actually bought the GSN-5 for this serum - it is expensive enough to deserve its own brush.

It is so soft, and the paddle-ish shape of it's bristles, makes it great to go around the nose, under the eyes and the corners of the jaws.

the bristles aren't as dense as in a kabuki brush, thus it doesn't take in a lot of product, two pumps to be exact was all i needed to cover my whole face and neck.

Great investment!
