Cover-Expert Perfecting Fluid Foundation

This is a great foundation. It performs excellent it has a great coverage builtable and it makes my skin look flawless.The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 is the scent. It has a floral signature By Terry scent that I can't stand. I usually really like floral scents but this one ,I don't....

I am a total foundation junkie and have tried so many high end foundations over the past few years!! I am 30 and my skin is currently combination / oily. I tried this foundation 1-1.5 years ago and felt it was super drying on my skin and just wouldn't sit well. It sat in the back of my cabinet, and then I recently picked it up again. It all of a sudden was GORGEOUS - not drying at all. What happened? Well i was on the oral contraceptive pill before, and I unfortunately had to go off it for medical reasons. It totally changed my skin, and where i was dry/dehydrated and flaky before, i am now oily ++, and as acne-prone as ever. I have been wearing this every single day and it's my #1 foundation at present, and I have the densiliss foundation along with several other brands in the same price range as the densiliss. I use a blending brush or beauty blender and both are great. It covers some of my hormonal acne and scars, but i do need some extra concealer on those areas. I do still get oily throughout the day, but no more than with other non-oil controlling foundations. In spite of this oiliness, it actually lasts throughout the day and looks quite good after 10-12 hrs. I am a NC23 with yellow undertones at present, and 7 is a perfect match. I also have 3 that I just purchased for use in the wintertime to blend with 7 when I find 7 leans a bit dark. Overall: love it. May not be a great fit for flakier skin types but definitely worth a sample.

I don't take reviews lightly. I have used many foundations and discovered that I do not like full coverage. It always feels masky and dry. But, this foundation, while providing amazing coverage, feels like nothing on the skin. It wears well all day without breaking apart around my nose like most other foundations do. It has a a slight glow to it while being matte. I don't even have to powder it. It makes any other product I wear over top of it look better. I will definitely be repurchasing. I am a light medium skin tone that leans neutral/golden and the shade is perfect.

Great foundation that has coverage without being cakey, although if you like a really full coverage I would suggest trying something else, but this was perfect for me! The smell is quite strong compared to most other foundations but didn't really bother me, I am usually an nc25 and ordered the shade 7, I think I could get away with going a shade darker
