Make It Glam Duo

I was so excited to try this, I don’t like wasting things so will use it until it’s finished and won’t repurchase or recommend. I was using Caudalie Vinosun lightweight cream factor 50 and I wish I had stuck with it. Where to start…this review is of the sunscreen for the face (not the lipgloss SPF). The consistency is a thick gel reminiscent of petroleum jelly (ie slightly more pliable Vaseline). It also smells like it. It’s greasy. Thankfully, it doesn’t make your skin look too greasy but it feels it. It’s sits on top of your skin and I had to change my routine to give this extra time to sink in so that I could apply primer and foundation. I also used this on my neck and arms one day (I’m trying to finish it off quickly!) and my arms felt sticky all day (imagine your hair blowing in the wind sticking to you. Like wearing those sticky lip glosses all over yourself. I have used it every day since I received it and I loathe applying it. But I’m stuck with it. Two stars because it seems to have provided SPF protection and I didn’t have a skin reaction. But that’s as a good as it gets. This product has added time to my routine (bearing in mind I used to use an SPF daily already) and makes the process less enjoyable as my skin feels so greasy and I’m sure my pores have enlarged since using it. I find I’m quite shiny by lunch time and I feel I have to give my face a good scrub at the end of the day. Please get a sample first.
