Beauty Product Reviews

Super soft and intensely pigmented.

I've written a review on these before, but felt like I had to write one just for Black Dahlia.

It goes perfectly with the lip tar, but the pencil is pigmented enough to wear on its own if you wanted. Unlike some deeper lip pencils, this one gives you an even, fully opaque colour.

This doesn't drag on the lips at all, which for me is super important when I'm trying to rock a dark lip, I don't want any uneven edges or anything making the application any harder!

Amazing colour, but blends away too easily.

I absolutely love the OCC Loose Colour Concentrates - some of the colours (like Jubilee) are really unusual and when pressed onto a base the payoff is really intense.

However, I've got to agree with other reviewers, these pigments are so fine and soft that they blend away to almost nothing.

That said, it hasn't stopped me buying more and won't stop me in future either. They add an amazing pop of colour/shimmer to looks depending on which you choose.

Great colour, but very heavy.

I love the colour - hard to find a good match when you're pale! - and it looks great for the first couple of hours after you've applied it. However I've found this to wear pretty badly throughout the day used as a concealer, especially because my skin is very oily.

Despite this I would recommend it to people with normal/dry skin. The coverage is amazing and the finish when it's first applied is lovely.

Creamy and extremely pigmented.

I was so excited to try these, I love OCC and haven't had a bad product from them yet.

Pool Boy is a very intense sky blue and is very pigmented with great payoff. It's super creamy too so you can't really go wrong as there's no drag like other pencils that can sometimes be too hard.

Definitely worth the money and I can see these becoming a new obsession for me!
