Beauty Product Reviews

Almost a love

This brush is extremely soft and quiet unique in its shape. I’d say it’s a fairly long haired paddle brush that blooms after washing to provide a bigger surface area. The quality is definitely there with the Yano series what it is lacking, though, is atheistic appeal. I think beautylish could had made this line more appealing by making these brushes different visually. Especially for the price! When I can get a chikuhodo brush with an elegant hand painted design for the same price it’s hard to pull the trigger on the Yano brushes. I think visually they are quite boring and make them less unique in the fude world and I’m less inclined to pick up brushes from the series unless the brush shape is different from what I own or could get at a lesser price point.

Overall the line doesn’t lack in quality. You’re going to get an extremely soft brush with most likely the top of the line natural hairs all hand bundled. What you aren’t getting is the excitement visually.

Great brush

I enjoy the natural hair eye brushes from this line. I find them to be fairly good work horse brushes. I’d same the same level as rephr brushes. I wish they would come out with more eye brushes in their natural hair line.

Overall I don’t think anyone would be disappointed with the eye brushes. They pack on shadow and blend out shadow well.

Amazing!

Although I was disappointed to see somewhat of a simpler handle design than past brushes these still are beautiful and amazing quality. I don’t regret it one bit. The handles have somewhat of an iridescent/sparkle ombre to them. Very smooth and sophisticated in appearance.

Once washed the powder brush fluffs up to be a perfect all over face powder for setting not too much on buffing. The cheek brush is what I like -round vrs flat. Very very similar to their RC line cheek brush. All the eye brushes are just great additions to the set for me!

Not impressed

I’m a big fude brush lover and I adore koyudo brushes. Unfortunately, this set just didn’t meet up with their usual standards. I found the brushes quite coarse and scratchy on the skin. Only speaking in the realm of fude. If you enjoy morphe brushes etc. I don’t think you’d be disappointed.

Love it

I am very impressed by this line. Softer than I expected with dyed goat hair. Powder brush does wonderful at picking up loose powder for setting. I was having a hard time finding a brush that is natural, soft but not flimsy, fluffy but not airy and not small yet not too big. This one has to be my favorite purchase so far and I’ve purchased over a couple dozen brushes!
