Very Matte but Very Unique

This is a very matte formula. Not creamy, so prime those eyelids! The deeper shades are pigmented and you'll need a small brush to pickup the lighter shades. Anyway, I keep forgetting about this palette because I already own tons of eyeshadows with similar colors, but with a creamier formula. It's just a personal preference.

HOWEVER, upon my search for blush toppers or blush color adjusters, this palette is AMAZING. Do you have a beautiful blush that is just too pink? Too pigmented? Too red? Well this here has all the colors to help you adjust those shades! Wow, just wow. Blush hunting is as annoying as Foundation shade matching.

I hope Hindash re-releases this palette so I can pick up a second one.

Why. Did. I. Not. Try. This. Sooner?!

I took the bite and bought the blusher and the angled brush (number 2 I believe). Quick story made short? I'm going to order 2-3 more of this brush.

Wayne Gosses White Gold collection feels like it should be at a much higher price point, like luxury name brands that are $30+, and yet the quality is beyond theirs. Ever felt Saie's brushes? Haus Labs (and I love Haus Labs products) brushes? Makeup by Mario's? Even Patrick Ta's dual ended brushes? Buy one of WG's White Gold brush, and then take it to Sephora and play with their brushes to compare. You'll see what I mean.

Does it feel exactly like natural hair fibers? Not quite, but it doesn't feel like cheap synthetic hair fibers either. My Rephyr brushes have a more, rougher feel. The thing is, Wayne's White Gold brushes simulate the effect that natural hair fiber brushes give; soft and buildable non-patchy application. You can literally do all your complexion products with just this one type of brush.

It's soft enough to be airy and silky on the skin, but packed enough to feel slightly dense that you can stipple/tap the product on the skin. The shape is like a fluffy paddle, not too big and not too small. Very much like a fluffier version of Nikki La Rose N17 brush from BK Beauty. Precision bronzing/contouring, light dusting of powder, to even blush (liquid or powder) on the cheeks. Wow. Just wow.

Blend Blend Blend

Try applying a cream blush with this brush, then blend and tap it out in upward motions. Watch the blush just blend into a beautiful diffused finish on your skin.

That is what this brush can do (and more). I don't recommend using it for foundation because the bristles are very long and since they mimic natural brushes, the bristles will clump up together (like hair when wet). It's fine for liquid/cream bronzers/blushes because you aren't lathering the entire brush with product. This is my new favorite brush of all time due to how easy it is to blend something out, without being afraid of messing up any of my base product underneath.

Wow. Just WOW.

These brushes performed the way I wanted my Morphe Vegan brushes to perform. Had I known these existed I would have doubled up! Instead I have quite a lot of those pretty Morphe brushes... They aren't bad, just much more rough rough on the edges and very "tough" feeling. They will move product around on the face if you don't use a light hand.

So, these Units brushes (I haven't tried the other series) are very very soft. They truly mimic the feel of natural hair bristles, while still performing like a sheered version of synthetic brushes. They can pick up my cream products fine, but the winner here is how easily it is to diffuse the liquid/cream product without pouncing at my face in fear that the base layers will be disturbed.

Price point, no other affordable/drugstore brushes can beat these for me because they don't feel cheap (they have a weight to them), are immensely affordable (under the $20 range), and perform/feel like natural hair brushes. From here on out, I will always recommend these brushes for avid makeup lovers when it comes to synthetic brushes. Moving on up would be Wayne Gosses brushes (synthetic and natural), and then the world of natural hair brushes but that's another story. ;)

Glides like ice but blends like a soft synthetic brush!

I found it odd that (according to the description) you can use this brush with liquid or cream products, when natural hair bristles are preferred to be used with powders. After using this brush (with my Haus Labs foundation), I now get why that is; the bristles are short and packed so closely together that this brush acts like a synthetic brush. You get the same kind of finishing effect a synthetic brush gives, but the smoothness of this brush does not irritate the skin at all. You know the slickness of an ice cube rubbing on your skin? Yeah that's this brush. It seems the size of the brush head helps the bristles to not clump up together when touching liquid/cream products, like how hair acts when doused in water.

5 out of 5 for me. Yes I own multiple foundation brushes in different shape and size but this one stands out. Does it make applying makeup easier, better, or softer? No, that would rely on the product AND the technique. Yes it it is a little small for a foundation brush but honestly, I feel like that was a design choice Wayne made to allow the user to have precise control over their application of the foundation/bronzer/cream product.

I love it and will be buy more!
