The First Edition F4 Foundation Brush

Love it ! I bought this last year from Beautylish to replace my Chantecaille foundation brush ( bristles literally fell out after 1.5 years ) . It’s a great everyday brush . It will never remain white as like as new but this does not affect its performance. I wash my brushes every week but it will never be white again I feel.

....unfortunately it still sheds...which i forgot to write in my previous text. I own another brush of Wayne goss, the one for the cheeks , which does perform better. I wouldn't recommend this one though.

It's a beautiful design but I wished the handle was longer and the hairs were wider so I could be quicker in distributing the make-up) ....also, I have issues with the smell....i washed it since I got it more than twice but it remains which is the downside of this brush. I would have returned it if I was living in the US. Not very happy with this purchase but always impressed with beautylish speedy and immaculate sendings to Europe.

I found it odd that (according to the description) you can use this brush with liquid or cream products, when natural hair bristles are preferred to be used with powders. After using this brush (with my Haus Labs foundation), I now get why that is; the bristles are short and packed so closely together that this brush acts like a synthetic brush. You get the same kind of finishing effect a synthetic brush gives, but the smoothness of this brush does not irritate the skin at all. You know the slickness of an ice cube rubbing on your skin? Yeah that's this brush. It seems the size of the brush head helps the bristles to not clump up together when touching liquid/cream products, like how hair acts when doused in water.

5 out of 5 for me. Yes I own multiple foundation brushes in different shape and size but this one stands out. Does it make applying makeup easier, better, or softer? No, that would rely on the product AND the technique. Yes it it is a little small for a foundation brush but honestly, I feel like that was a design choice Wayne made to allow the user to have precise control over their application of the foundation/bronzer/cream product.

I love it and will be buy more!

I've only used this brush 4 times and although it applies beautifully I've had to pick off pieces of the shedding brush off of my face each time and then go back and touch up that area.I don't know if the price tag is justified in this case

I love this brush for applying my liquid foundation and tinted SPF sunscreen. It blends beautifully without streaks. Love it so much I will buy a second one for backup!

I wasn’t expecting to love this brush as much as I do. It is great for liquid foundation and tinted sunscreen. It blends like a dream and I find myself reaching for it more than my other brushes. It works well for cream bronzer as well.

When i heard about this collection coming out, i knew i wanted to get my hand on the face brushes and i pick the F4 brush because i’m always on the search of a good complexion brushes And as soon as i try this, i fell in love! I tried it with my most liquidy foundation to cream stick and all formulas are working great with this. And i was surprised how little it stained ! I purchased my second F4 immediately because i want to have one handy when i washed the other one

Not the biggest fan of Wayne Goss makeup but these brushes are top notch. Well made and good for long time use if you take care of it and wash consistently.

I was skeptical of the square-ish shape and overall size - I couldn’t imagine how it would apply foundation…but in his promotional video, Wayne showed how to move the brush back and forth to polish foundation onto the skin and he said it gives a pore-less finish and said it’s incredible. He was right! It does polish the foundation in to a smooth pore-less finish and I found myself saying “incredible” when I first tried it. The application came out flawless and then everything else I put on after (bronzer, blush, concealer) looked smooth and flawless as well since the base layer was so polished!
