Fantastic for liquids and creams

Wow, Sonia knocked it out of the park with these. They have just the right density and flexibility to apply (and not soak up) both creams and liquids. So far, the classic base is my favorite to apply liquid foundation and cream cheek. I use the mini base for contour. The soft concealer is great for under the eye or around the nose or mouth. I do have to pick up a smaller brush for the inside corners of my eyes. The handles are beautiful and easy to hold. They feel solid. I recently wrote a review for the WG new set and the handles were a deal breaker for me. The domed shape makes blending easy. They wash well & dry quickly. In the photo, the top 5 are this set & bottom 3 are 3 other of her brushes so you can compare the size. I have lots of Fude brushes - but these are a great addition because they are expressly for creams/ liquids.

These were a disappointment. They need to accompany fuller brushes (especially for cheeks) and should not be considered the only brushes you need. Eg the rephr 4,5 & 24 are better for blush & bronzer. I already have Chikuhodo highlighter & powder brushes so these were redundant. The main reason I gave them 3 stars is the handles. They feel cheap and light in my hand and don’t look like wood/lacquer. His previous artist brushes were beautiful. I might be missing the point of these… but I returned them and bought the new Sonia Gs instead (the liquid/cream set). I really like Wayne! But these didn’t do it fir me.

Nice silky matte bronzer

I love the CT finishing powder so I bought this. I read the reviews and went with tan even though I have medium skin (light-medium in the winter). It might be a touch dark - I have to feather it on with a fan brush. I love the silky feel & matte look - I use it to contour my cheeks. The refillable pan is huge! I had to rearrange my makeup drawer.

Breathable

I’ve been on a search for the perfect foundation which has been near impossible during Covid. Most of it comes down to color matching. I’ve finally figured out I’m neutral - but have pinkiness on my cheeks. I prefer light to medium coverage because my skin is good but I have discoloration from years of too much sun. I’ve hit 50 - so my skin is drier but I get t-zone oiliness. How did I pick my color? I ordered samples for a few dollars straight from koh gen do. Okay performance - medium coverage - It covers my dark spots. I don’t feel dry & I don’t feel like I have anything on ... not that twitchy I want to scratch but don’t want to mess up my makeup feeling. You can’t see my pores - liked it so much I bought the powder too (like that as well) FYI I also like Surratt dewdrop 6.5. I want to give a shout out to Beautylish customer service Bree & Lixia for their help!
