Beauty Product Reviews

LOVE IT!!

I am so incredibly impressed with this palette. The palette box itself is so unique and the colors are beautiful. If you arent someone who wears a ton of bright and colorful shadows, this palette has the most neutrals and subdued shades out of all of jeffrees palettes. The mini is beautiful. Purple is my favorite color eyeshadow to wear. The unique stamps are so cute, I almost didnt want to touch the shadows lol. They did a great job. I dont usually buy at launch, but im so glad I did. On a sidenote, i ordered 3 minutes after the collection went live on nov 1st and my palettes arrived at my house around noon on nov 3rd. It was insanely fast!

Loving it, advice for those unsure about their shade

I debated for days on which shade to get. I have olive undertones but I'm pale and love a brightening effect under my eyes. c6 looked too close to my skin color but c3 looked so light in swatches i was looking at. My favorite concealer is actually drugstore, Maybelline dream lumi touch highlighting concealer in the shade fair. I'm posting a photo with my review of Jeffree's concealer swatched in natural light. C3, is not nearly as light as it looks in other photos ive seen(I swear it looked almost white in other swatches and i almost didn't buy it) if I can attach two photos i will also include a swatch of Maybelline dream lumi touch underneath the magic concealer for comparison sake. I've seen so many swatches comparing it to fenty or shape tape but nobody is showing it next to drugstore concealer. I hope it helps.

I would say that c3 is working out pretty well. A little goes a very long way so do not do the typical beauty guru thing. I don't see any creasing, it's pretty and dries down nicely. That being said, I recently did one eye with Jeffree's concealer in c3 and the other eye with Maybelline dream lumi touch highlighting concealer. I couldn't see a difference between the two under eyes but I still recommend giving his concealer a try because I do really love it. I own so many concealers and Jeffree's ties for 1st place which is pretty impressive. I'm tempted to buy c5 when it restocks.

Second swatch photo

Ok, i wrote a review and attempted to post two photos of my swatches but only one photo uploaded so here is my second swatch photos. Starting from the wrist Snatched Plunge Subtle Quench Submerge Splash Drizzle

Again, I do enjoy these shadows and the glittery metallics go on beautifully(but have glitter fallout), some of the shades are a bit more powdery and not as buttery and pigmented as the mini breaker palette. Parched, taste buds, quench, submerge, splash and drizzle took heavy pressure to get them to swatch decently

Very pretty but....

This is my second jeffree star eyeshadow palette. My first was the mini breaker, which I LOVED. The thirsty palete is so pretty. My main reason for purchasing was the middle row of glittery metallics. They are beautiful and go on easy ...but you will end up with glitter all over your face. I used just a small swipe of a glitter metallic shade and glitter flecks are all over my cheek, even by my mouth. Using concealer or a primer doesn't seem to stop it. It doesn't bother me enough to stop using this. It also kind of seems like the top row of shadows as well as the yellow, blue and teal colors aren't as buttery and smooth as the mattes in the mini breaker palette. The mattes in the thirsty palette seem slightly more powdery. Because you can't always trust guru swatches, here are my swatches in natural lighting, it took quite a bit of pressure on the shadows to get certain shades to show up(especially parched, taste buds, drizzle and quench) From wrist down in the first photo: Parched Taste buds Biiiiitch Kumquat Stroke Divine Filthy rich Lick Second photo from wrist Snatched Plunge Subtle Quench Submerge Splash Drizzle

Love it

I kind of had buyers remorse after purchasing this because as someone who isn't 16 and has dry skin, sometimes under eye baking can make totally invisible lines or dry spots, suddenly look like I have fine lines. I really am surprised though, I don't see any creasing. Today i used it under my eyes, using Jeffree star magic concealer under one eye and my all time favorite concealer Maybelline dream lumi touch highlighting concealer(seriously it's better than any high end and drugstore concealer, with Jeffree's concealer at a close second) under my other eye. It looks nice and smooth and not cakey or texturized or anything. It's very pretty.

That being said, im a pale girl and when I ordered my setting powder they were sold out of fair. I ended up buying beige instead and while it does still give a brightening effect, when I went to review this i noticed fair is back in stock. I'm currently extremely torn between asking if I can exchange my beige for fair or keeping the beige because it seems like a lot of hassle and it is pretty, just a touch darker than I'd prefer but again, it did brighten my under eyes and matches my skin tone, I'm just used to using a very very light shade of setting powder.

Im not a very confident person lol but here is me wearing the setting powder(and jeffree star concealer and his thirsty palette shadows)

Amazing!

This is my first purchase from jeffree star cosmetics. The formula is amazing, it goes on so well with minimal effort. Today i just used my finger, which is something i never do because most shadows take packing on layer after layer but this goes on so pigmented right away.

Seeing beauty guru swatches can be deceiving because they have beauty lights so here is a photo of my swatched palette.

The color order from top of my arm to my elbow is: Slice(by far the most buttery & smooth) Double scoop Orange Crush Foreplay(pretty but will slightly stain) Bubble Gum(least pigmented, slightly powdery and does stain slightly but pretty amazing still) Oral(also buttery) Purple punch(my 2nd fav purple. Also stains SLIGHTLY) Bite me(buttery formula similar to slice and oral. My fav purple) Hot fudge(really surprised at how much i like this one. I also got bold and used it for nose contouring lol if you attempt this a little goes a LONG way. If you use too much it will fail)
