About Me

My name is Veronica and I LOVE anything that has to do with beauty- makeup, hair, skin, nails, etc. Ever since I was a little girl, I've always been into it. I'll never forget watching my mother strategically apply her makeup every day- it really takes talent to put a face together. I do freelance makeup with a good friend of mine and I also design my own line of hair accessories.

Feel free to reach out or check out my website (unfortunately, it's not about makeup/beauty though- that is in the works!!!)!

FAQ

How does your hair look so shiny?- Shhh...my top secret...get ready for it....I wash my hair once a week! Yes, it's true. I have naturally curly hair, so the texture is a bit dry. It takes me an hour to blowdry and straighten my hair. You want to make sure to use a thermal protectant and a serum (Moroccan Oil is my savior). After applying product, I divide my hair into for sections- first separate my crown and pin that up. Then I divide my hair in half and then divide those pieces in half. You should have 5 pieces of hair pinned.
I blowdry section by section, alternating hot and cool. I always make sure to finish drying with the cool setting to close up the cuticle. After I finish the 4 pieces, I work on the crown, starting with the bangs and going piece by piece. When I am done, I quickly run a straightener through my hair, again, piece by piece. I don't want to expose unnecessary heat to my hair, so I make sure not to hold the straightener for too long on a section of hair.
When I am done I use a LITTLE bit of shine spray and then I'm out the door! For best results, I blowdry my hair at night- that way all the little frizzy pieces are settled down in the morning!
