Fantastic cleanser, takes everything off, leaves my face shine-free!

LOVE.

This is basically a mask, light exfoliant, makeup remover, and daily cleanser in one. Especially during hot/humid seasons, traveling, wearing makeup, having more acne than usual, this stuff is amazing at de-clogging my pores. I normally use my mild Obagi Clenziderm acne cleanser with my Clarisonic (think Sonicare toothbrush for your face), but lately it hasn't been getting the job done. I got a bunch of the Rare Earth products from Kielhs, and they are all fantastic at getting the gunk out of my pores. What I love is that my skin is left with a lovely matte finish. It scrubs everything out quickly and effectively, but gentle enough that I can use while wearing my contacts. Plus, it doesn't dry out my skin like acne washes do. And there's something about the smell and clay-like consistency that I like...

Additional recommendations: 1) Follow up with the Rare Earth moisturizer. Your face will be soooo matte (best suited for normal to oily skin, or just in the t-zone if you have dry skin). 2) Use the Rare Earth Mask about once a week, or just the day of a special event, date, or anything you want flawless pores for. It makes your face taught and your complexion even!

A staple! (But FYI: product has a black cap, different bottle)

Great moisturizer to use when your skin is still wet! If you towel dry completely, the oil is still great, but you will just be really oily... I love the sesame scent, too. It is very faint but definitely noticeable. I use this just about every day...makes my legs looks great in the summer! It is lighter and more liquid-y than other oils (like The Body Shop ones), which is great because you lather on in a matter of seconds. When time is an issue, I always use this body oil instead of lotion or cream. I'd say my skin stays pretty moisturized for 24 hours. I also use it when laying out in the sun! And as a massage oil. It has so many uses!

Go get the tube version!!!

Dear Beautylish readers, Go to your local Anthropologie store or online vendor to get the TUBE VERSION of this delightful product. We all know it's amazing, and why.

My main reason for loving it is that, unlike most other lip and petroleum-based products, Rosebud Salve doesn't dry out my lips! After 10 years of using Aquaphor, I assert that Rosebud Salve is better for lip moisturizing.

Why is the tube better than the pot? If you're a germophobe, I need not explain. Gross, right? Sticking your finger back constantly into this pot with particles and stuff that accumulate...the thought of bacteria erks me. If you're a regular person, the tube has its advantages in melting situations: if the pot melts, when you open it, the salve gets everywhere: hands, side of pot, purse, car, etc. In the tube, granted, it's so liquid-y that you get too much on your lips, but there's no serious clean-up involved. Last reason why the tube is better than the pot: you don't have to wipe off your finger every time you use it (...side note: before the tube was available, I used to smudge that leftover salve on my opposite elbow and/or cuticles for a quick moisturizer).

Photo just shows size of tube in relation to tube of Aquaphor... Rosebud Salve wins, though!!! :)

daily ESSENTIAL for upper lid, nothing else compares!

OBSESSED. I've been using it for 3 years already.

I dip my MAC #266 angled brush (which, people at MAC insist is for eyebrows only, but I use it for both... total other story) into some water, press into the eyeshadow, and sweep it onto my lids to create the perfect upper lid lash line. It is PERFECT for cat eye, if you're going for that look (I just go with basic, thin line during the day...or thicker for night).

Prior eyeliner history: I used to used the Smashbox cream liner, but it was too goopy, would travel into the crease (gross), and wasn't as specific. Before that, I used to use regular black MAC eyeshadow, I would just dip my Mac #266 angled brush in water and it would turn into liner (exactly the way that the Laura Mercier one does). The problem with using the MAC eyeshadow as liner is that it didn't stay put, and black particles would be all over my face. Not with Laura Mercier!

I'm only halfway through my second one in 3 years...it lasts a longgg time. The only drawback: not as time efficient as a pencil--but it's so worth the extra minute to get that specific line, right into the lash line, with full control...

my go-to

great color but can be a little harsh (i need to generally have a tan, then apply a lighter gloss on top, so i don't have that 90's brown lipstick look going on...) Applied correctly, it makes my lips look bigger. And the color is neutral enough that it goes with any outfit, in any season. But, beware, once it melts or cracks a little bit...it's OVER :(
