Stunning red

Smoke red is a beautiful deep red that stands out in my exceedingly large collection of red nail polish. As I get gel manicures on my hands, I only use regular polish on my toes and every time I wear it, my manicurist says it's her favorite out of all of my reds. She's never had any issues with streaking or patchiness and although there's full, even opacity in two coats, I like 3 to deepen the color just a bit more. I've never had any chipping or issues with wear time and I go 2-3 weeks between pedicures. This is the only Tom Ford nail polish I own but I do recommend it, even for those that may have had issues with his other colors because it's possible Smoke Red's formula is a bit different. It's such a classic Hollywood color that makes me feel confident when wearing it so I'll definitely continue to repurchase.

Not for me

I really wanted to love this and the hydrating, med-full coverage formula was so nice on my dry under eyes that I tried over and over to make it work. Unfortunately, although it's supposed to have a cool undertone, Shade 1 is too yellow on my NW10 skintone. I tried Shade 2, which is also said to have a cool undertone but it was 1-1.5 shades too dark. At 39, I want to conceal, not highlight, under my eyes so I buy shades that match my skintone and blend seamlessly into my foundation. I'm disappointed this didn't work out but I definitely recommend it to anyone that can find a shade for them.

Stunning

I initially wrote this off as all hype and, after hearing some say Fair was a honey or beige color, was convinced that it would be too dark on my NW10 skintone. I also swatched it multiple times in store and it looked like nothing but I finally caved after a YouTuber with a similar skintone raved about it, saying it had no glitter. I now admit the hype is real as it gives an intense glass like sheen to the skin that melts in effortlessly, never accentuates texture and has absolutely no glitter. Although Fair looks pinky beige in the pan, the color doesn't translate onto the skin and a little goes a long way. Because it looks just like healthy glowing skin, I never worry about wearing it to work at a major public accounting firm, an industry that is still quite conservative. I can't recommend this highlight enough!

Fair skin friendly

Pearl is my all time favorite highlighter and even though I own the full size, I was very happy to receive this mini set in my Beautylish Lucky Bag back in Jan. Although it's a cool toned white powder in the pan, there is almost no back pigment and is really only seen when the light hits it instead of looking like a stripe of white on your face. There is a tiny amount of shimmer that's almost undetectable when blended but it doesn't have any glitter, microfine or chunky. I use a tapered highlight brush and apply a very small amount in a C shape from cheekbones to temple and then buff in little circles into my skin. I can always add more but this method ensures I don't have a layer of powder, which is more difficult to blend into my skin. For the liquid, I put 3-4 dots on my cheekbones and again, blend in small circles but with either a small natural hair or stiff synthetic brush. The liquid makes a beautiful inner corner highlight as well. I can't recommend this set enough, especially for those with very fair, cool toned skin, because it's perfect for travel. The full size version is so incredibly soft with her little protection in the compact but the mini is set much deeper in the pan and hasn't broken during any of the many trips it's taken with me. Lastly, those with a fair, yellow, peach or olive skintone may prefer a warmer white highlight instead of Pearl which may look too stark/cool toned/silvery and I'm not sure anyone deeper than NW20/25 will like this but I do recommend searching and, if possible, having it applied in store before buying

Broke me out

This is one of the finest milled pressed powders I've ever tried, it melts into the skin beautifully and made my makeup last all day. Although Shade 1 was a little yellow on my NW10 skintone, I made it work because it was a great powder. Unfortunately, it broke me out. I have ultra sensitive and reactive skin and the CT Magic Cream also caused irritation so, aside from the lipsticks, I've decided to stay away from the line.

Almost perfect

I've been looking for the perfect concealer for years and, although I like that it provides nearly full coverage with a natural finish that blends beautifully but none of the shades work for me. I'm very fair with cool undertones (NW10/ BR10 YSL) so I thought Shade 1 would work but leans warm instead of cool as described. Shade 2, while more neutral, was too dark. Unfortunately, the search is still on for my ideal concealer.

Perfection

I am a Viseart junkie, only wear cool tones and purple shadows are my favorite so Liaison is the perfect palette for me. The mattes are pigmented and blendable, as always, and the shimmers are metallic and creamy. I will use every shade in this palette and I highly recommend it.

Amazing

This is the best blending brush I've tried! It's soft, fluffy, washes beautifully and does all the work for you! It's my first Wayne Goss purchase and I will be ordering 2 more. I'm so glad I've found something to replace the MAC 217 which is unusable in synthetic form.
