My favourite fragrance thus far

Sadly, this is I think being discontinued. Amazing fragrance. If you are wondering if you would like this.... olfactory wise, this reminds me of 15 years ago when I would bathe in Armani Mania. If you enjoy Emporio Armani He... Or Bleu de Chanel... You will love this fragrance... I smell Amber and Orris immediately... And a citrus Accord on the back end. This again as perceived by my skins ph. That is one thing people forget... The final ingredient in every fragrance is literally you and your largest organ. Would never consider this a floral scent. Just extremely root chakra opening.

Unisexual... Not bath and body synthetic jasmine

First notes are definitely floral (jasmine, labdanum, yoangylang)... Not your grandma's floral soaps... Smells like you stuck your nose directly into the stamen of a flower. You can feel the petals on your nose. There's an immediate trace amount of zest that disappears, and as it warms into the skin the base of vanilla appears... Like creamed vanilla... And then a rich Amber leather note that appears beneath the flowers. It's a warm fragrance which I believe is the spice... But I can't pinpoint a single expression within it. Absolutely beautiful scent.

Pairs really well mixed with neroli portifino.

My first cleanse step...

I use this as my first step cleanser. Then use the slick it leaves on my skin when baking as a base to massage my manual exfoliator (origins modern friction) into. My favourite process.

Not oily

Wonderfully light. Nice simple whisper of a scent to it. Use as a last step layer because of the triple hyaluronic acid complex... Which is bad to put on dry skin... So do all other steps of serums, essence, toning... Then apply for best results.

Showers you with essence

This sprayer makes you wet. But product is amazing. Alcohol free so works well in seven-step routines. I love this equally with aveda's toning mist.

My go to for daytime

I live Tom Ford private blend... This is the base for most most my days... I smell little to no zest or acidic fruits.... Smell loads of neroli and a hint of Jasmine.... Lots of rain water as well.

Nutritional serum...

This is an amazingly absorbing serum. No scent. Back in 2007.. Aveda used to make this overnight serum (was in a class pump serum bottle). This is almost exactly like that discontinued product in consistency and everything. Will definitely continue using this.

Thick gel balm... Very nice

Little to no scent. A thick and heavy gel balm that nicely hydrates and plumps skin overnight. Closest comparables I can think of... A thicker version of origins gel night-a-mins (formulation from 2008) or aveda's tourmaline night cream no longer in production (circa 2004-2012)

Great cleanser that isn't packaged with the ingredient water

Even I, when ordering, was assuming this would be like a dry version of modern friction from origins. It is not a physicially exfoliating product, but rather a chemical scrub. Turns into a thick foam cleaner after adding eater and lathering. It does it's job well... But only giving four stars because I would have preferred a dry version like modern friction or aveda's tourmaline scrub. This line I'm general is amazing... But they have like four foaming cleansers... And no manual scrubs.
