1 step curls!
One of my least favorite parts of having curls is the million and one products you may need to have definition and hold. But, alas, Verb has resolved this problem for all of us lazy curly-haired beauties. I feel like all I need if at all, is a little oil, and that's simply for added shine and a little oomph. Otherwise, this is a one-stop product and has a lovely scent. I urge everyone to try it out!
All time favorite!
As someone who loves to experiment with skincare, I seem to keep coming back to this product every time. I love a foaming cleanser, and my biggest struggle is that you often get that at a cost, as your skin often feels tight and a little stripped. Especially as someone who struggles with dry skin, I can confirm that this does not strip my skin of moisture. Perfect every time, and repurchased as soon as I run out.
A sunscreen I actually look forward to put on! ☀️🌅🌇☀️
I think that when having a routine, a big part of it is actually enjoying the process of applying your skincare. I personally, love the Black Girl Sunscreen brand since their OG, but this new hybrid sunscreen may be their best yet. It has a slight lavander scent that really brings a smile to my face. While a lot of people do not enjoy scent in their skincare, personally, I find it ever so enjoyable to begin my day by applying calming scents onto my skin. Moreover, I find that this has no white cast, which is hard for a lot of mineral sunscreens. Moreover, I find it to be pretty hydrating, perfect for those with a drier skin type. Also lovely on the body and perfect size to toss in any bag or purse.
A delightful splurge!
I love a scrub, and this is an absolute knockout. It's jam-packed with castor oil, sunflower oil, as well as rose butter, rose flower essential wax, and rosehip oil, making this a nourishing treatment all over. The scent of this product is also just delightful as it is the classic and ever-so-alluring rose scent, which isn't artificial at all. You're automatically transported to a rose garden. While it is a little pricey, I personally think that getting BY TERRY skincare in a body product. It is absolutely delightful, I urge everyone to try it!
Gentle, easy, and effective!
I personally have been wary of using retinol and the side effects you experience when using this ingredient. After a close friend mentioned that this was gentle enough to use under the eyes, I knew I had to try it. While retinol can often cause peeling, and tightness, this one gave me very little to no dryness and my skin never felt tight. I noticed results within 4 weeks of using the product. After finishing a tube of this wondercream, I can confirm that my skin feels smoother, and the stubborn hyperpigmentation I have around my cheeks has lessened. As for my under eye area, I’m lucky enough to say that this is more of a preventative product, and while I don’t see major differences, I do feel like products slide on and blend better. Overall I think this product is perfect for those who want to dip their toe into anti aging products, and effective enough for those more experienced users!
Shine bright like a diamond!
I have always really enjoyed the quality of highlighters that Anastasia has brought to the table. From her famous 4 pan palettes to the highly coveted Amrezy highlighter, ABH never lets us down. Welcome in her new set of glow getters, the glow seeker highlighter. All 3 shades are incredible and look gorgeous on any skin tone. These have an almost baked-like consistency making the formula buttery, and soft to the touch. A little definitely goes a long way, and it looks gorgeous along the cheekbones, or even layered to mimic eyeshadow for an extra glowy finish. I personally own Sun Idol, but I can't wait to collect the other 2 shades!
One pump, be gone!
I love a double cleanse, and while I am a huge fan of a cleansing balm, I do love the option of an oil as well. An oil is to me a lot tougher on some makeup that may be harder to take off. I use waterproof eyeliner, brow pencil, and mascara. To those familiar with this kind of heavy-duty makeup, we can all agree that often enough it does take a good scrubbing to try and get waterproof products off of the skin.
Apart from being amazing at removing makeup, the skincare benefits of using this product are major. This contains as the name shares, hyaluronic acid, which is the building block to ensuring the skin remains plump and hydrated. This specific hyaluronic acid, however, is sourced from okra, and mandarin orange extract which makes this formula even more so interesting, as they are drawn from natural and holistic sources. However, the number one reason this will stay in my shower is how they have incorporated licorice root extract. This powerhouse ingredient is not just helpful towards irritation, but helps and promotes brightening too!
If you need a step one that helps to not just cleanse but deeply nourish the skin this is the way to go!
A true luxury experience for your hands!
I am in love with this hand cream, and honestly, I think we need to discuss how important hand care is! This hand cream claims to be a "spa in a tube" and they were not lying. The scent of the lotion transports you to what I can only imagine is a luxurious massage room with serene candlelight everywhere. The subtle notes of lavender give the lotion a fresh, and clean scent, while also providing your hands with a delightful cooling and nourishing hydration.
The lotion itself dries to a non-greasy feel everyone can appreciate. While not leaving the hands with an overpowering perfume so it can be discreet for you to reapply as needed.
I love to do my nails, and I also love to cook, which means I am constantly washing my hands or picking at them in some sort of way. This lotion provides comfort to my dry hands. A true luxury to keep on hand, I love it!
Effortless curls, minimal product needed!
I love my curls and have embraced my curly hair throughout the years. I love wearing my hair curly but what I don't love is the amount of products needed to have defined frizz free curls. I personally did not believe the claims that this mask would promote definition, moisture, and frizz control, it just seemed to good to be true!
I quickly ate my words in only one use! I shampooed and used this mask for about ten minutes, then rinsed with lukewarm water (as it is better for your hair!) and let my hair air dry without any products to give the mask a good test run. Upon my hair drying, I the definition was there, and more importantly the volume and moisturize allowed me to go product-free.
I personally still feel like product is needed, I topped my air-dried hair with a small dollop of the VERB Curl Cream and my curls have never looked and felt better. However, if you're in a pinch you can use this a wash-and-go as the product delivers on all fronts!
Perfect Skin in a bottle!
I love an exfoliating product and feel that although a chemical exfoliant is now the more popular option, nothing beats a good physical exfoliant. This powder is water-activated and a little goes a long way! It quickly foams up into a luxurious lather with the perfect amount of grittiness to slough away dead skin and other impurities that may be clinging on from the day.
This product is very coconut-heavy and has a slight milky scent which is very pleasing and calming. It is perfect for those who have rather sensitive skin so I can safely say most people should be able to use this without any hiccups. That being said, if your skin is super sensitive to fragrance you may want to check out a different product in their range!
Lastly, the real reason I'm giving this product a 5 out of 5, is the baby soft effect that they advertise. After rinsing off this foam exfoliant, my skin feels supple and soft. I love the immediate results, and will forever keep this in my skincare rotation!
