Beauty Product Reviews

If you’re sensitive to fragrance, this might be not be the product for you as there is a definite creamy vanilla scent but (at least to me) it’s not cloying or overly sweet. It’s the thickest SR night cream I’ve used so far - maybe one of the thickest of any brand I’ve used and that’s good because I can skip the step and just applied this than my last occlusive. I’ll be honest - it’s not often I’m impressed by Drunk elephant or Sunday Riley or any of the overpriced American products but this one I was pleasantly surprised.

For $7, could be sturdier but still gets the job done...

The blades are very sharp and they have certainly figured out the magic engineering inside this thing to get my CT lip and eye pencils razor sharp without breaking which is always a pain. I took off a star as some parts are made of really thin and cheap-looking plastic. I have two because the first one cracked. It still works but just aggravated that they did not use a material that could stand being jostled around in my makeup bag inside my purse.

Finally found the PERFECT eyebrow pencil...

After spending the 90s plucking my eyebrows to oblivion, I am now left with barely any brows - especially on my left side. I’ve tried brushes, professional dyes, and tons of products - NONE have been as easy to apply and long lasting as this one. It’s perfect for drawing on the most realistic and flattering brows. I used to use Glossier Boy Brow afterward to keep my brows in place every single time I used a brush to carefully fix the bald spots - now I just use this pencil and even with my oily, hooded eyes, it lasts ALL day long.

Completely NOT what I expected.

I learned my lesson with this product that frangrance is not a smart blind buy. Everything about this told me I’d love it - from the Neroli orange to the whole thing about the Mediterranean Isles. When I sprayed this, I smelled the EXACT Avon powder my grandmother let me play with when I was younger. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a good memory. I was absolutely shocked. Anyway, I am sticking with TF Soleil Blanc, Black Orchid, and F****** Fabulous.

Just no. Do not blind buy!

I don’t have the most refined nose when it comes to perfumes but there is no way I would ever mistake this for a women’s perfume. This was so upsetting becuse it was a free sample and I usually love Tom Ford scents. I had to wash my sweater after wearing it because it was just suffocating me. My son and husband don’t even want it. 😣

Good for hydration...

I’m not sure about brightening, but it is a good fermented product and a little goes a long way. I’d say it’s probably not as effective (for me) as SK-II Essence but far more effective than other cheaper fermented so far.

The first cleanser I refuse to replace...

After trying so many sherbet type cleansers, this is my Holy Grail. Everything is perfect - texture, slip, smell (heavenly!), gentleness yet strong enough to even remove my tubular mascara with no rubbing.

Love!

I can’t decide if I like this or Celebrity Skin better! I used both with the Celebrity Skin velour lip liner and contrary to the bad reviews, I thought it was great! The only thing I don’t like is having to sharpen constantly but I understand it’s more sanitary than a retractable pencil. Or at least Jeffrey says so...🤷🏼‍♀️
