Viseart Grande Pro Volume 1

great quality, beautiful colors... but overpriced

I can't say that this palette isn't beautiful. Viseart shadows are some of the best. This is professional level quality. All Matte and in neutral, cool, and warm tone shades. I think that everything you need like ever is in this palette. that being said- if you are someone who will wear all of these colors (or a majority) like every day... and you don't already have eyeshadow that you enjoy then go ahead and get this! I use this palette, but not enough to justify having paid what i did for it. This shadow formula is very dry and gritty but it blends like a dream and is highly pigmented but can be buildable with a light application. (the opposite example i can think of are the tarte matte shadows- these are not that same consistency at all). final verdict? glad I have it, use it occasionally, have all of the colors i could ever need here... BUT there are products that will do the same thing for you that are a fraction of the price. I would really only recommend this to a make up artist.

RCMA Makeup No Color Powder

Great translucent powder, but not easily accessible

So I learned from Wayne Goss that powder is the reason foundation oxidizes.... and to avoid this a no-color or translucent powder is the way to go. I don't use too much powder day to day- just to set the forehead/nose/undereye area where makeup usually breaks down. This powder is great for setting the whole face or baking when wearing more makeup or needing better lasting power. I highly recommend this power. I have 2 complaints: 1. It isn't easily accessible. It isn't a hassle to order online, but its more of a commitment because I do not know of any stores that have testers of this product. I love it, and will repurchase. I just know how many people don't know about this powder because its only available online. 2. The packaging makes a mess. I like it because its not a gimmicky packaging. Its a great, functional product with no frills packaging! BUT its a mess!

I am willing to deal with messy packaging for this product. a little goes a long way and it works very well.
