Beauty Product Reviews

A great glow

A very nice, glow producing primer. One star off for me as there is no SPF. Use as a base layer or mix into heavier coverage foundations for versatility. Mimics the effects of much pricier formulas. Probably better for normal to dry skin types.

Simply excellent

Fantastic gentle AHA for most skin types. The lactic acid is for forgiving for me and if I want to I can use it every night. If you haven't used AHA's before start with the 5% formula (also from The Ordinary) before graduating to the 10%

Turn any eyeshadow into a lasting liner

Works brilliantly, mixes well with any powder shadow. Great price and I only use one drop per application.

Love this

One of my top picks from The Ordinary. Goes on beautifully and has a noticeable brightening effect. Great in the morning under makeup.

Appears to have stripped my keratin treatment.

I received a sample of this and the matching conditioner with a Beautylish order. The product details specify that it is "Safe for color- and keratin-treated hair" but I am sure that after two shampoo and condition cycles my five week old kerasilk treatment has been seriously stripped. Obviously this is an expensive treatment so I'm not that thrilled to be honest.

Compatible with Keratin smoothing treatment? I'm not sure.

Great product, awful packaging.

Love the product, great subtle glow and perfect for throwing on all over with a little concealer. But the packaging/delivery system (modified doe foot applicator) is simply awful. Why is this not in a pump? I guess I will see how this works when I've used more of the bottle but at the moment cannot imagine purchasing again with the current packaging. The glass bottle is also stupidly heavy and basically impossible to travel with.
