wonderful

Smoky eye dreams made easy. I own a handful of eye shadow palettes from too faced, urban decay, Anastasia, etc... in my mind it was hard to justify spending $50 on a palette with 4 shades when in those palettes you get 12 or more... but this is so worth it - it's a perfect smoky eye made easy, the shades have no fall out and they're so easy to work with - they're not intensity pigmented but pigmented enough to build and give the most lovely gradient, I personally don't need a SUPER pigmented eye shadows... everyone always raves on and on about the pigment but in reality for me I can watch a thousand tutorials and buy the best brushes and eye shadows but I don't know HOW to work with pigment I AM NOT A MAKEUP ARTIST- this is beginner proof and looks amazing every time. I want to buy all of them.

wash it first

at first I was disappointed by the shape, but after washing it it- fluffed out into the most amazing tapered, round shape that is literally good for all face work - powder, blush, bronzer, highlight, etc... washing it might be obvious to those who have experience with natural hair brushes, but this is my first one, and I'm very happy with the quality so far!

Nice

I love this concealer for under the eyes and on the face, it's creamy and has light-medium coverage. My favorite way to apply is the warm on the back of my hand then use a brush to apply to the face. The packaging is beautiful, very weighty and sophisticated, I love taking it out of my bag, will repurchase!

beautiful

this palette is really pretty, the shimmer shades are my favorite and they're more like pigmented pops of glitter without the fall out, the mattes are more like the modern renaissance texture and the two palettes pair beautifully together, really pretty palette.

Packaging is stunning. The shadows are drier in texture so they don't swatch on the arm super creamy, but are very easy to apply on the lids. The matte colors are easily built and blend really well. The first shimmers from the day, desk and date trio's are really similar, the day is more neutral, desk of more warm, and date is more pink, and all of the shimmers are best applied with a finger or a dampened brush for best color pay off. I find that I do not need to reach for other colors to create different looks, everything you need is there! if you already own a ton of eye shadows I feel like you will be disappointed for the price point, because the colors are so similar to other palettes. I was a little disappointed in how similar the shimmer shades are, and how poorly they applied with a dry brush, def use a finger or fix + ! But overall I am happy with the palette and can see myself using this everyday and traveling with it.
