Beauty Product Reviews

Very nice.

FYI photo was taken at END of long day in Aussie heat. No concealer with massive redness and breakouts going on underneath (Set with Rimmel Stay Matte Powder).

Review: This is great for me. In QLD Australia, sunscreen is basic common sense every day. I like wearing this CC alone (no concealer/ powder/ blush/ setting spray etc) on "no makeup" days as it can be sheared out for a "natural skin" look and has quickly replaced my everyday facial sunscreen due to the pretty "I just have great skin" effect it gives.

The 50+ SPF defo works. Since using it the Aussie tan on my face is fading fast. It's now the final step in my "skincare" before I move to "makeup". For "makeup" days, as a foundation it looks great. It holds up well all day. Blends well. Doesn't crease. Doesn't oxidize. I do have to set it w powder or I get shiny through the day. Only real CONs: it goes fast. It takes 2 pumps, to cover my whole face (blended with Sigma F80) and a 3rd for my neck + collarbone. Also leaves a foundation mark on the inner rim of my high, white uniform collar, (even when topped with RCMA setting powder and a generous dose of Urban Decay All nighter setting spray). But it conceals redness beautifully on me with just one layer, and it doesn't seem to irritate my heavily acne-prone skin. I'm still looking for the "perfect" setting powder for it. I'm thinking I'll invest in the recommended Airbrush CC, since I've not been blown away by PF Color Correcting, RCMA or Rimmel Stay Matte with it. All 3 look good, none creased, but none look "flawless" and I'm a dreamer.
