Beauty Product Reviews

Irritating

I ordered the Super 7 + Cleansing Balm and have had mixed, but mostly positive results. The Wake Up Eye Serum is the only product I can not use. Although I don't have sensitive skin or eyes, this serum irritated my eyes and the area around them, leaving them dry, flaky, and itchy. I tried using it with hydrating/moisturizing products underneath and on top, but even the facial oils could not prevent the stinging and itching. In all, this set was a success, especially at the affordable price point. My favorites are the peptides serum and the facial oils. I have not been using the line long enough to determine positive long-term benefits, but other than this eye serum, I have been somewhat satisfied with this basic, easy to use skin care line.

Gorgeous

This is THE powder for people who have given up on powders. I have no idea what sorcery is inside, but I had sworn off setting and finishing because I always looked dry, cakey, and OLD eventually, every time. This formula is a definite game-changer, and this shade (N200) is perfect for light to light/medium skin tones. This is holy grail status and I am so happy I decided to give powder one last shot.

Lovely packaging; lovely product

I can be a sucker for nice packaging but will be the first to admit that sometimes a beautiful box holds a disappointing product. That is not the case with this Bronze and Glow duo. The case is gorgeous, but the bronzer is the real star of the show: a perfect shade for many skin tones, a build-able formula, looks great on dry or mature skin. It doubles as a nice crease shade, as well. The highlighter is icing on the cake: subtle, from within glow that can be built up. I have reached for this almost daily since receiving it, and I'm convinced I will get my money's worth from this duo.

Soft and small = perfection

This brush is perfect for my small, deep-set, somewhat hooded eyes. I can finally apply shadows and blend them out perfectly while keeping the colors in my crease area, and not all the way up to be brow or down on my lid. I recommend this very lovely brush even to those who don't have small or hooded eyes because sometimes you need to be more strategic and precise, and we all already have plenty of big, fluffy brushes. This may have been my first WG brush, but it won't be my last.
