Love!

I got a size up so I can throw this on with leggings for my lazy days. Fits great! The material is soft, and the print is great quality! Vibrant colors and it doesn't look like the letters will crack over time. I'm so happy that I get to visibly support Jeffree Star with one of my favorite iconic phrases of his. Love it! :)

Creamy Formula

I had a bad experience with Celebrity Skin from the previous Lip Ammunition line. It was very grainy, the formula super thick, and the color was a bad undertone for my skin. I decided to give JSC another chance with the new summer launch. Thick is Thieves my perfect "my lips but better" shade for me. It is a super creamy formula. It still feels pretty thick when applying BUT it doesnt feel sticky on the lips. Its very comfortable and long wearing. It smells like creamsicles too :)

New Favorite!

I have written a previous review on King Tut being my favorite Jeffree Star Cosmetics highlight but OMG Summer Snowcone is close second! I have worn it every day since it came in the mail and I am very impressed. The formula is very hard in the pan, which was concerning at first because I thought it was going to apply chalky or dry. However, it applies beautifully and BLINDS! It would great on paler skin tones (that yellow undertone would pop in the summer) On my medium/tan skin, it comes off as a more light gold. Not as bronze as King Tut, not as frosty as Siberian Gold. Somewhat in the middle. Gorgeous!

Best formula!

I own quite a collection of Jeffree Star lipsticks with a wide range or colors. I understand that some pigments may work better with the formula than others, which may result in a longer/shorter wear time in my experience. Calabasas is the longest lasting color that I own! I don't know why, but this color lasted a whole shift at work with only slight crumbling in the inner rim. This was after 6 hours so I am far from disappointed. Most times my lips crumble in the inner rim after about 3-4 hours so this is a success! I love this color and I hope Jeffree makes it a staple!

Summer

This lip color screams summer to me. In the tube it looks like a typical red lip. I was bit nervous because I already own Redrum, and I didn't want another basic red lip. However, once I swatched it on my lips, it was an opaque, bright orange-red shade and it just popped on my skin tone. Stunning! This is going to be worn a LOT during the summer. It is a beautiful pop of color and I couldn't be happier with this shade on my skin tone.

BUBBLILICIOUS!

I received this lip scrub today and let me tell you....this is incredible! Not only is it moisturizing and is effective at exfoliating, it tastes and smells EXACTLY like Bubblicious gum in the watermelon flavor. It brings me right back to my childhood. It is unreal! The name "Watermelon Gum" is completely accurate! I already own the Rootbeer flavor as well (equally amazing) and now after loving this flavor so much I am tempted to add the rest of the summer flavors into my cart ASAP! Thank you Jeffree :)

Glitz and Glitter

This is my first Jouer Cosmetics purchase and so far, so good! The tube is smaller than I expected for the price, but I'm guessing it is a higher end brand. The formula is fantastic but I just didn't quite get the color payoff that I expected. By itself or over a lipstick, it didn't leave much of a rose gold effect. It was mostly gave the impression of a shimmery lip gloss. The formula is very moisturizing, not sticky or goopy and was SO comfortable on the lips. I like to wear a lip color that will be comfortable for work and this was it! I think the coconut oil really added that moisture and kept my lips soft all day. The scent is VERY intense at first but I don't mind the cupcake/vanilla scent, I'm just warning that it is a stronger scent. Overall I would have given this a 5 star rating if it had left a better color payoff on my lips.

Incredible!

I'm Shook is such a GORGEOUS shade! The swatches I had seen on other people made it look like a red/pink to me, which I wasn't in need of. After hearing all the hype over this color over the past few days, I just HAD to buy it. My lips were coated in 1 dip of the wand and it is the same comfortable formula that I have grown to love from Jeffree Star. This color is beautiful and the warm tones really stand out against my skin. This is the one color I may have to have duplicates of and I NEVER say that!

Wow! Wow!

This may be my new favorite highlighter! I thought that King Tut was my favorite, but Lavender Snow is STUNNING! I didn't think it would look nice in my skin tone because I have a more medium/tan complexion. I took the chance and bought it and I am so glad I did! It is BLIND-ING! And extremely pigmented with just a few swipes of the brush. The lavender color is subtle but beautiful, and captures the light quite nicely. I am planning on wearing this everyday this spring paired with pastel eyeshadow looks. I can't wait! Formula is buttery, it is pigmented, and it is beautiful on the skin. Give it a try!

Confessions of a Highlight Junkie

I have quite a sizeable collection of highlighters; from cream, liquid, and powder formulas to high-end, drugstore, and ecommerce brands. I love a nice GLOW every.single.day. No makeup look is complete without a POPPIN highlight. Wow. Wow. Wow. This highlight is the TRUTH on my skin tone. I can use a light hand with a brush and still build up the glow power of the product to blinding capabilities. It sets into the skin nicely and doesn't leave a dark stripe across my cheek from the pigment. I am in LOVE. I bought Siberian Gold prior to purchasing King Tut, and I barely even touch Siberian Gold anymore. The King Tut formula is a lot more buttery on the skin, and less glittery than Siberian Gold. This is hands down my favorite highlight in my whole collection and I pray Jeffree never stops making them. This will remain a staple product for me.
