Hard to work with

I got this in last year’s lucky bag and was thrilled to try it. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for me. I’ve tried applying with a brush, fingers, and sponge. The result is always patchy. I’ve tried it under and over setting powder. It’s bizarre because it’s so well rated. I have a lowlighter from her and it’s better.

Patchy and difficult to work with

I got this product in my 2025 Lucky Bag, meaning I’ve been trying this product for a year now. I just don’t get the hype or good reviews. I’ve tried it with a brush, finger, and sponge but it just does not blend well at all. I’ve tried it after primer but before foundation, after foundation before I set with powder, and over powder. When I blend, there are usually areas that are patchy. Nothing I do helps that. Maybe I got a bad batch.

Pretty color

I received this item in my 2025 lucky bag and was excited to try this out as I love DM but have never tried her blushes. It’s a good product, but it didn’t “wow” me. I typically use cream blushes on top of powder and it’s never been an issue for me. I tried the blush on one side with the Sonia G. soft cheek and with my fingers on the other side. It definitely applies better with my fingers, but I found it a tad more difficult to diffuse than my other cream blushes. I’ll still use it, but it’s not my go to. I am wearing the blush in my profile picture for reference.

Just a regular shampoo

I received this item in my 2025 lucky bag and was excited to try it out. I have coily curly hair that tangles very quickly and easily to the point where I have to detangle before washing my hair, while conditioning my hair, and when using a leave in. On wash day, I pre detangled as usual and tried my second detangle with this shampoo instead of my conditioner. It didn’t really help me detangle and trust me, I tried. I had to end up using my conditioner to detangle. It cleans well and is fine, but it doesn’t live up to its name and it’s quite pricy. I have tried a couple other Oribe hair products and they just don’t gel with my hair. Maybe the brand isn’t suitable for certain ethnic hair types.

No other concealer brush compares!!

I got this a couple years ago and this brush ruined every other concealer brush for me! It’s perfect in every way. It blends like a dream without removing product, it doesn’t pull skin, and it’s just plain beautiful!

A must have in any routine, skin care or makeup wise!

I’ve been using this for several years and no other micellar water compares. I use it as a no rinse cleanser most of the time because due to physical and mental health issues, it’s often hard for me to do much. This plus a moisturizer is perfect. My skin has never been clearer. Will continue to repurchase.

A multitasking, blending workhorse

I received this in my Lucky Bag and was initially disappointed that it is partially synthetic. Turns out, that’s what makes this brush so special. This brush easily and quickly diffuses colors into my crease. I’ve also used it for concealer under my brow and it makes the product melt into my skin. It’s my new favorite and go-to brush. Don’t let the absence of reviews fool you- this brush is up there with the other goat hair brushes Sonia G. produces!

Great blush brush

This cheek brush is quite soft and the bristles widen once you apply blush products. I do think that an angled brush works better for me, hence the four stars instead of five.

Great first fude eyeshadow brush

After losing my MAC 239, I was on the hunt for another eyeshadow brush. After reading a lot of reviews, I settled on this brush. I am very pleased! It picks up a lot of product and this brush feels smooth on my eyelids. I love the shape of it; I can easy use this one brush to apply 3+ colors on my mobile lid. Highly recommend!
