A soft, less dense Fu-pa 2, good for cream blush & bronzer

I first got this brush cause I wanted a softer Koyudo Fu-pa 02 which I like but is too rough on my skin. As expected it's the same size, soft, but less dense than Fu-pa 02. The hair shape also isn't as dense at the top, so it's better used with short strokes than buffing motion. The lower density means it tends to leave some streak marks for liquidy texture foundation. I'd still use it for foundation when my skin gets sensitive, I just go over at the end with a sponge. Powder also fixes all the streaks. It's an excellent brush for cream bronzer and blush though - fits right into the cheekbones and doesn't over-blend my cream bronzer everywhere.

Big, fluffy, soft paddle powder brush

With dry skin I can’t buff, I can only pat or press powder on my face, and for that I need a flat, medium dense, soft brush. The Wayne Goss airbrush is an example of a flat brush, but it’s so small for the entire face. So I was looking for a much larger version of the airbrush to lightly pat setting and finishing powder on my face and this BP004 brush is perfect. Paddle shaped brushes this size isn’t easy to find, most brushes are like the GSN-1 or Z-9 where it’s oval round, not oval flat. The problem with an oval round brush is the surface I can use to pat on powder is a lot smaller than a flat brush. Photo here the BP004 next to Chikuhodo GSN-1 for size reference (post wash, with brush guard)

Silky brush hair!

This was a pleasant surprise. I use this to wash my squirrel hair brushes. Other than being very easy to wash off (it doesn’t lather much), it leaves my brushes silky and hydrated. Normally my brushes blooms and get a bit rougher after wash but seems like this hydration controls them a bit. Smells great too. Minus 1 star for packaging and performance: when first opened it has a rough texture on top I thought I got a used product, there was also no seal. It also doesn’t remove all foundation traces from 1 wash, unlike my baby shampoo.

Nudes are great, lighter color seems patchy, light coverage

Pros: Moisturizing satin matte texture, hydrating (!), buildable colors

Cons: Doesn't stay on for very long (~ 3-4 hours w/o eating), need to build up 3-4 layers for opaque color

I bought the LE Bitch Perfect and Sexy Sienna from this range. Charlotte Tilbury makes great nudes - Bitch Perfect is the perfect neutral MLBB for me (Mac NC25), the other nudes are also great when I looked at them in stores.

However Sexy Sienna was quite patchy going on my lips and broke up, didn't stay, and looked neon. Sexy Sienna's texture was not as good as Bitch Perfect or other darker shades - so be careful if you're around my shade (NC25-30) or darker.
