Clumpy and flakey

This mascara was just too much for me. I liked the super black color and the juicy formula for about 2 seconds. But I couldn't prevent it going on very wet and clumpy and I really had to work it with a separate comb to keep from ending up with 4 thick spidery lashes per eye. It also flaked off all day and made my eyes itch and water. The lower lash mascara was gone by mid day (panda eyes fixed with concealer!). But every time I looked in a mirror, the cheek area under my eyes would be flecked with little black dots of mascara. Couldn't wait to take it off at the end of the day. Tried it one more time just to make sure it wasn't a moisturizer or foundation incompatibility. Unfortunately, got the same result as day one. Fortunately, Beautylish is lovely to do business with, and I was able to return the item for a refund.

Fabulous scent and luxurious feel!

This balm is luxury in a jar. I like to massage it in last thing at night. Smells delicious going on and my skin looks great the next morning.

Items seemed geared to a much younger customer

This was my first Lucky Bag. I liked it OK, but doubt I will do this again. I was intrigued by the chance to try new things. There were 7 full sized items inside ranging in value from $7 to $48 and I estimated the purchase value of the $75 bag was probably a whopping $186, so really great value for the money. The quality of the items was great, and presentation (as always) was lovely. However, I will never ever use the 2 most expensive items included (BECCA oil-control mattifying primer and a Natasha Denon eyeshadow palette where 4 of the 5 shades are super metallic). The bag seemed geared to a much younger customer with things like a tub of lip sugar scrub. The value of the stuff I would use only comes to around $84. I'll stick to buying my wish list items and leave the Lucky mystery bag for others to enjoy.

Great Large Size

Why do I always buy bags that are too small? Well, this bag is the antidote to that problem. It's generously sized and the top zipper opens well for access to all the stuff I've piled inside. I've been using it as a travel toiletry bag, and I really like it. I like the minimalist design of the outer canvas bag. I also find that the wipable lining makes clean up after small leaks pretty easy. It's even big enough that I can tuck in a tinier bag to keep tweezers, shaving gear, and other little bits and pieces that I like to carry around but don't use every day. The picture shows what I've got in it currently, and there's even room still to throw in a couple small shampoo/conditioner bottles.
