Soft, not dramatic

One thing I appreciate about Wayne Goss's color stories is the attention paid to the undertones of the shades. They perfectly coordinate such that you can mix and match the entire palette and don't necessarily have to designate any shades to a single purpose. That lends itself to more flexibility in creating a variety of looks out of fewer shades. This palette is lovely and soft, perfect for everyday wear. When Wayne described the celestial shade as "exquisite," never has a truer statement been uttered. It really is. You won't get deep, dramatic looks out of this palette, and by Wayne's own description, it's intended for soft looks such as what's commonly worn for bridal looks. I thought I would miss the black shadow (his is my favorite black of all of the palettes I own), but I appreciate this gray. I have to go back to my comment on undertones, because to call this gray "gray" seems insulting. It's a fairly complex gray with almost a hint of lavender in the undertone, but also a smidge of taupe. It's beautiful and versatile and doesn't overpower the softness of the remaining shades. This one is my favorite yet.

Like works of art...

These brushes are amazing. They look and feel like works of art, and are incredibly soft. I followed the techniques Wayne suggested in his announcement video, and the brushes perform exactly as described. Varying levels of pressure changes how product applies, making them truly multi-tasking brushes. Of course they blend product perfectly, and I feel like I'm Harry Potter with new wands when I use them. They're magical to me! I hesitated at the price but have zero regrets. They're amazing.

Perfect for crease precision blending and lower lashline

I've had the eye set (including this brush) for over a year, and just ordered a second of brush 20. I use it every day and it is perfect for crease precision blending (especially blending between the crease and transition for one more level of transition), outer corner, and lower lash line. It's firm enough to be precise on the lower lash line but soft enough to blend without irritation. Now I'll have one to use for lighter shadows and one for darker. I love this brush. The only brush I love more is the WG 03. My two must-haves.

Comfortable and hold up well to talking and drinking

I love these glosses. They feel substantial and comfortable, not sticky, and they hold up well over the course of a few hours of talking and drinking from cups. They reapply well without getting tacky. I bought the whole collection because while some shades are similar, I appreciate the subtle differences in undertone. I can get a look just right with the right undertone. My former favorite glosses were by Pat McGrath, and while she is still the Queen, dare I say I prefer Wayne's glosses just a touch more. The wear is just a little bit better and longer. I look forward to more shades!
