Didn't work for me, but is holy grail status for my partner!

If I were reviewing only for myself, I'd have to give this shampoo 1 star (for the scent, which is incredible). My hair is fine and dry, and the Gold Lust shampoo and conditioner seem to emphasize dryness and create a frizzy yet stringy straw-like texture.

However, my partner is obsessed with this line! It hydrates, softens, and strengthens her very long and very thick, dense hair. We buy the liter sizes now and I don't think she'll ever switch to anything else. Between her 5 stars and my 1 I'm rating this an overall middle of the road 3. The scent is phenomenal and it works beautifully when it works. If your hair is thick - as in, each strand is thick, not just a lot of hair! - you may love this. If your hair is prone to dryness, proceed with caution. Luckily Beautylish has an amazing return policy if it doesn't work out :)

Lovely flush of color, smoothing and soft on the lips- even shimmery shades

I seem to be an outlier in that I don't find these to be moisturizing.

That said, they are non-drying and feel lovely on the lips! The shades are surprisingly pigmented- I don't think the photos do them justice. With a few exceptions (like the shade 1, which is the exact color of my lips) I find them to provide a long wearing pop of color.

Hydrating, soothing on dry chapped skin

If you live in a climate with cold winters, a lot of wind, or have chapped lips or skin for any other reason, you need this ointment! It's not going to moisturize like a lotion or body butter, but it will help soothe, heal, and mend chapped skin. I like to use this on my lips, hands, and feet any time they feel really dry, following up with lotion a few hours later if I need moisturizer as well.

The product smells vaguely like cinnamon, but the scent doesn't linger after you apply it. It's also pretty unisex, so it would be a great gift for the guy or girl who doesn't want to bother with lotion or moisturizers but still gets dry, chapped skin.

Very blendable, can be natural or built up to more intense

This highlighter adds an absolutely gorgeous luminosity to the skin, it blends out beautifully and layers well. If you prefer more intense radiance, you can build it up to a wet looking sheen.

Because it's such a light cream, it doesn't emphasize fine lines and skin texture as much as some other illuminators do.

It does have more of a pinky bronze appearance, so if you want something very pearlescent or white this will disappoint. It does work well on just about every skin tone, though extremely fair women may want to use a light hand and extremely deep women may find it a touch ashy in some lightings. All in all, it's about as universally flattering as a single color could be. Highly recommend!

Light rose scent, nicely pigmented, can get patchy when blending

The packaging is really unique and fun, and if the blushes themselves have a beautiful rose scent that's strong enough to be enjoyable if you like it, and mild enough to be inoffensive if it's not your thing.

The blushes themselves are nice (and the colors are beautiful!), but can get a bit dusty and patchy during blending sometimes. Overall considering the pigmentation and application, I would say these are worth the price, especially if you enjoy the brand's aesthetic.

Pigmented, blendable, good range of shades for different skintones

This blush is absolutely beautiful! Each blush has two complimentary shades that can be blended together to create a natural flush or more dramatic hue to the cheeks.

The blushes can be blended with a beauty blender or a brush. They don't create hotspots or get patchy, even directly over creams and liquids!

Absolute best glue for personal or professional use

My 'quick take' says it all. This is the best glue I've found for long-lasting individual or strip falsies. Dries in the perfect amount of time! I do wish it dried slightly more matte, but it's certainly less shiny than the clear, and the fact that it's dark makes it easier to conceal with or without mascara. Note that it's not latex free- pros should keep a different option in their kits in case of allergies!

This is one of my top favorite primers. It gives a gorgeous golden glow to the skin that can help mask redness and is flattering on all undertones, but especially those with neutral and warm undertones. It smooths out dry patches beautifully and is suitable for oily skin as well. Though it does have sunscreen, it doesn't cause a flashback when photographed, although that may be due to the fact that it goes under makeup.

Better for dry skin, lightweight, buildable coverage

This product works on a variety of skin types but not as well on oily skin. Dry skinned ladies (and gents!) rejoice, this is not a drying formula. However, it will cling to dry skin that hasn't been properly exfoliated and can get patchy when used with certain powders. The formula works well when applied with foundation or kabuki brushes (for medium coverage) as well as fingers (medium-full coverage), and can be applied sheerly with a damp beauty blender. The shade range is good but some colors skew a bit yellow, however it's perfect for me. I use it in the shade Siberia and I have very fair, neutral-leaning-yellow undertones with surface redness.

Refreshing, great for dehydrated skin, great for travel

This is a really great product that works on every skin type after cleansing and toning to help the skin better absorb moisturizers and serums. It's also wonderful as a refreshing spray when traveling on an airplane or in an area with low humidity. There are several sizes, so be aware of which one you're choosing before checkout! I recommend the large one for daily or personal use, and the 5oz or travel trio for flights and professional use!
