Balmessence Lip Treatment

I try to be honest and realistic as possible with my reviews, as I appreciate feedback from others as well, when they're posting their reviews on products I am interested in.

So: I have to correct my review from 3 to 5 stars as the lip balm over time really showed its real beneficial nature. I used it regularly, morning, evening, sometimes over the day and I like taking my Wayne Goss Lip brush for that purpose, as it is sturdy and able to pick the right amount of product. The scent is very pleasant, it brought me through a harsh winter and even harsher spring time without complaints.

In fact, I recommended it to my best friend and when she ordered with Beautylish, I asked her to get me my 2nd jar... that says it all.

With Beautylish I discovered Oribe and ordered Shampoo, Conditioner, Hand cream, shower gel... you name it. I just love the Oribe scent and the lux feeling after using these products.

But this Lip Treatment was not much a step forward of what I have been using before. The balm gets oily and sits somehow on the lips. That's why I started to use it just to freshen up my matte lipsticks. Matt formulas will get eventually very dry on my lips - and that's the moment when I apply some of the Oribe Lip balm.

My holy grail for a divine, repairing, moisturizing lip treatment remains the Lancome Absolue Precious Cells Lip balm. Using in the morning and before bed only.

There are other products I will repurchase from Oribe, the Lip balm will probably not be on the list.

I got this in my lucky bag and I’m shocked at how much I love it. I have little tubes of aquaphor everywhere because I cannot stand having dry lips and I started using this instead and I realized I don’t have to apply as many times throughout the day. So yes it is pricey but it works really really well.

This stuff is incredible! This product has completely transformed my lips after just 3 days. This is super hydrating. I cannot say enough good. It is definitely worth the price

There is no other overnight lip balm like this one, I've tried a lot. Its think and creamy and actually stays on all night. I use this also in the winter when my lips are feeling super dry. It lasts a long time if you careful with, a tiny amount is all you need. Despite the price I always have it

I tried so hard to find something cheaper that worked as good as this lip balm but here I am back to buy my second one. There is nothing like it.

This is a solid lip product, a little goes a long way. It hydrates the lips. I use this at night and wake up with soft lips.

I love lip products.. lip treatments to clarify. I always move on to the next, typically without even finishing the product.

I had to rebuy this after finishing one I purchased in January. I’ve never had softer lips. Many lip treatments will add hydration, but only lasts temporarily. I put this on in the morning and I’m good until mid day. I prefer to wear it on its own or with a shear lipstick on top.

I put it on before bed and wake up with pouty lips !! I love it.

Winter has been sucking the life out of my lips. They have been dry, chapped and difficult to soothe. My normal go to are the Fresh Sugar lip tints and balms. Yet, they haven't been able to soothe my dry lips for more than 20 minutes, as of late. And I don't want to repeatedly reapply lip balm throughout the day.

I have a new favorite lip treatment. I winced at the $35 price point; then decided to give it a try as my lips were on the verge of cracking. I am not disappointed with my decision. From the moment I applied my lips felt relief. Due to the density and weight of the lip balm a little went a looooong way and it adhered to my lips. I apply twice a day. Thanks to Mary's review I think I might add it to my night routine before bed.

Oribe Balmessence Lip Treatment was a great buy and a welcomed addition to my beauty routine and a treat for my lips.

I listed a review in June 2017. I've been using this for more than a month now. This lip treatment is working BETTER than I hoped. Great things come in small packages. I use only at night now and occasionally during the day (twice during the day this week). I have been able to remove all other lip products from my routine. I still have 3/4 of this product left. I do keep it in a cool place to keep it solid. I love it.
